Well pigeons, cat and among , but with reference to the particular examples she instances I am team JK.
Scotland is digging a massive hole for itself with regard to so-called “hate crime” and if it wasn’t that 1984 was 40 years ago I’d say it had arrived.

Not all men have Adams apples. Some women have them too

So you think I could be better in some way, do you, Violetsky 🤔

That's really rather insulting.

Not to mention patronising.

VioletSky Fri 05-Apr-24 15:25:16

Twisting people's words is not ok

These discussions never change, it's like groundhog day

It actually gave me the motivation to go clean the toilet as a less unpleasant experience

This is exactly why peoples attempts to vilify trans people will ultimately fail long term because others are put off by it. Real discussions about how to protect everyone's rights are happening in board rooms somewhere rather than reading people like JKR on Twitter or X or whatever nonsense

Galaxy Fri 05-Apr-24 15:27:28

I know it's awful when ordinary people have access to information and the ability to share their views.

Which is why at 09.18.29 I posted regarding Adams Apple Shaving Glorianny .

This surgery does leave a tell tale scar.

Not the latest. Click on the link

Actually all the changes that have been made including sports, the end to no debate, and women now having the ability to name a man as a man, started with conversations between women on social media. It's a funny old world.

As for women who identify as men using men’s toilets Glorianny .Unless they have had an operation to manufacture a penis (which going by the photos I have seen look nothing like a penis) they are not going to be using the urinals.

Nor are they posing a physical threat to other men, especially if they have gone through pubity as a female.

If men find the idea of women using their space wrong or intrusive then it is down to them to campaign, after all they are usually exceptionally good at being heard over and above women.

Oh of course they aren't but if it is predatory men we fear, they will be able to enter a toilet by claiming to be a transman-saves them the effort of dressing up etc.

Nothing new happening here then, same old justifications to have a go at ordinary people living their lives

???
who are these ordinary people you mention VS?
How do you know they are ordinary?

What do your ordinary people do?

My ordinary people may well fantasise about a different lifestyle, but they don’t harm others by doing so.

My ordinary people do not lie or cheat their way into other’s places, whether that be homes (like squatters) or any other places that specifically exclude them, e.g. female safe spaces, female hospital wards (especially MH wards), female sporting activities or accept awards that are not rightfully theirs.

VioletSky Fri 05-Apr-24 15:35:37

It's the very fact that you think all ordinary trans people are coming for your rights and privileges that destroys your own argument and makes this look like discrimination

^therefore of necessity having transmen use the ladies?^ What necessity? There is absolutely no need to demand transmen use female toilets. If men object to transmen using their facilities (I thought nobody could tell?) then they can campaign to have them banned.

There we are then inequality is OK. This is illegal by the way. Look at the equality act

Smileless2012 Fri 05-Apr-24 15:37:59

My ordinary people sound just like yours Molly.

If you find cleaning a toilet a more pleasurable experience then participating in these discussions VS then why bother joining in at all?

As any man is now able to put on a dress and demand to be acknowledged as a women, I would be grateful if you could tell us what rights and privileges women have left?

Elegran Fri 05-Apr-24 15:39:29

I could added something to what I said in my previous post ("Whatever the source, she {a DSD athlete raised as a female who later shows to be naturally producing abnormal amounts of testosterone] is in the same leaky boat as someone whose coach was feeding her testosterone pills and telling her that they were vitamins - she has an unfair advantage over her fellow competitors due to the presence of a banned substance. That is heartbreaking for anyone who has just discovered it, but the regulation is still being broken.")

The trainer would then be subject to disciplinary action - so those who had facilitated the transition of a male athlete to a female one must surely also be guilty of aiding and abetting the use of banned substances in achieving sporting success.

Smileless2012 Fri 05-Apr-24 15:39:56

No one has said that ^all ordinary trans people are coming for (our) rights VS; now whose twisting peoples words?

VioletSky Fri 05-Apr-24 15:41:46

They haven't changed

People have a GRC but sex based rights are still in force

If you mean that you cannot bully or harass a person because of your protected beliefs then, I cannot help you

Galaxy Fri 05-Apr-24 15:42:37

I dont bully people. What are you talking about?

Mollygo Fri 05-Apr-24 15:48:19

VioletSky

It's the very fact that you think all ordinary trans people are coming for your rights and privileges that destroys your own argument and makes this look like discrimination

No VS
Discrimination is the unjust and prejudicial treatment of females by some TIM and TRA.
Your mention of rights and privileges shows that you know exactly what some TIM are trying to do.
Your inability/unwillingness to explain your ordinary people is an avoidance tactic like that used by the Scottish bill.

VioletSky Fri 05-Apr-24 15:49:32

Well that just shows how easy it is to get stuck in a trap of justifying your own behaviour while refusing to believe it does any harm to other ordinary people

What's illegal? We can say women's toilets are only to be used by females, no males however they identify to use them. Of course transmen would be free to use them but we don't have to legally compel transmen to use them too. If men don't want transmen in their spaces they can lobby for a law preventing that.
You've openly said an athlete with a DSD who is biologically male with all the attendant advantage male puberty brings should still be able to compete and win against women in sport. I wonder why that inequality doesn't bother you one iota...........

Smileless2012 Fri 05-Apr-24 15:52:08

Well that is what you appear to be doing VS.

Elegran Fri 05-Apr-24 15:54:03

I have yet to read any posts that "vilify trans people".

VioletSky Fri 05-Apr-24 15:56:37

I don't think this thread shows the level of maturity required to find a good balance that supports and protects everyone

Smileless2012 Fri 05-Apr-24 15:59:24

Neither have I Elegran but the accusation is often trotted out.

Galaxy Fri 05-Apr-24 15:59:28

Thankfully you arent the thread monitor though VS so in a sense what judgements you make on others maturity dont really worry me. It's a change from bigot though so at least that's something.

VioletSky Fri 05-Apr-24 16:01:45

Who called you a bigot?

Have you reflected on why someone would say that?
