Am voting Labour but with a few reservations.😬

I'm at a loss too.
My local mp is nothing to write home about, otherwise I would first consider voting for the person not the party.

I could go on about the whys and wherefore's, but others have covered that elsewhere.

I don't trust Labour either, for the reason you've mentioned and also because I don't trust them to take a firm stand against all of this trans gender nonsense.

Oooh not seen anywhere in any of Labour's manifestos or proposals that we should admit any more mugrants than this govt has!

Agree with Smileless about transgender rubbish. I'm voting Lib Dem as they have a chance in my area whereas Labour doesn't. It will help keep out the Tories. Wish we could vote on policies rather than parties as I agree with bits of what they all say. No one party represents my views.

My reservations about Labour are because they seem set on perpetuating the toxic myth that immigration is bad for the UK, in the face of huge amounts of evidence to the contrary; appear to intend to maintain the cruel and ineffective ‘two-child’ rule; and are pledging (rightly) a massive affordable housing programme which will (inappropriately) be led by the private sector, without repealing or amending the disastrous Right to Buy.

Nonetheless, I would prefer a Labour government to more of the destruction the Tories would wreak, so would vote for them if they had the smallest chance of ousting the Conservatives in my constituency.

They don’t, so I will vote Green.

I have not got a clue as I don't trust any of them.

Absolutely correct and I don’t know a soul, whoever they politically support, who would disagree with you.

Why haven’t your party done more to control both “legal” and “illegal” immigration? Both have rocketed in the last 14 years.

At the end of the day it's a 2 horse race. Tory or Labour. At the moment I can't bring myself to vote for another 5 years of the same mess under the Tories but neither does Labour appeal. It bothers me that in the local elections we had areas where people were elected who were more concerned with Gaza and Palestine than what they could do for their community. I think that would happen more under Labour than the Tories. We laugh at Trump/Biden but are we any better?

I’m undecided too. Can we have a box that states “None of the above” 🙄

It is very simple for me - I will vote for whichever candidate stands the best chance of getting rid of the sitting Tory.

Well Cossy, I don’t have a problem with controlled migration provided people don’t disappear when their visas expire. Rwanda is starting to prove that it’s a deterrent but Starmer would stop it and have some sort of beefed up Border Force, which as I have posted before Border Force officials say will do nothing at all to stop the boats. Oh, and he wants to talk with Europe despite 15 European countries having signed up to wanting something along the lines of Rwanda. There is far more chance of ‘my’ party stopping the boats than Labour.

The borders of my constituency have changed and I have read that the MP of the old constituency is a young Tory who works extremely hard and has done some very good work…..but….. So I have no idea who to vote for.

Absolutely no idea but I always vote as women died in order that we could.

Sunak was not elected and Keir Starmer isn't actually sure about what a woman is. What to do 🤔
