Anybody else who doesn't know who to vote for?

It was James Callaghans speech at one party conference that persuaded me to join the Labour Party at the time. I’ve never been able to dislike Cameron ( except for when he held up that note saying there’s no money left, because he knew it was just a joke and that was sneaky); ditto John Major.

I like a nice can of stout after me shift. Feet up on the pouffe, maybe a sneeky puff on a cig or a bag of Doritos

I’ve got a whippet so the only party I can possibly vote for is Labour.

Why people are more concerned with gender ideology and a few p more tax when under the Tories tax is at the highest since WW2. Why water quality and the environment aren’t seen as more important beats me.
Do you think anyone is only concerned with one thing?
It’s quite possible to be concerned about gender ideology without being unconcerned about water quality, housing, the environment, education etc. Reading posts on here highlights a variety of posters’ concerns.
One reason I’m concerned about the gender stuff is it involves lying and cheating and expecting others to believe your lie. I know it’s a joke that politicians never give a straight answer, but to expect us to accept outright lies is asking too much. Lie about one thing? How do we know what else they say isn’t a lie?

Exactly Mollygo anyone prepared to lie about something so easily disproved, how can they be trusted on anything?

Take the Green Party... they claim science as their basis for climate change etc but deny it completely when it comes to biological sex. Might as well believe the earth is flat so as not to offend or diminish those who believe that.

It always amazes me that there are people who think if you mention 'A' it means you're not concerned or aware of 'B' 'C' 'D' or the rest of the alphabet. Maybe they're judging us by their own limitations???

I think we need a change, so I’ll continue not voting Tory, which I haven’t since 1979..

Although as I live in a true blue area, so I’m not sure it will make any difference. I cannot see Labour winning here.

To be honest, I’ve never had a real life discussion about politics with delivery drivers or randoms on buses etc.

My friends and relatives vote all sorts - good for them. Their business.

I was hoping to see Michael Gove defeated, but he’s walked off his own accord.🙄

I think Labour will win, with perhaps the LDs picking up their usual amount of seats.

I would not vote Conservative, but I don't trust Labour not to open the floodgates to yet more people who really don't like us and want to do us harm. Who to vote for - any ideas?

Well, I hope Labour win the GE but my Conservative MP is actually a very good constituency MP despite the burden of being PM and I shall be voting for him. I haven't voted for him for a while due to his Brexit credentials but I dread the thought of Reform taking away his local support.

Never want the Tories again but don't really understand what Labour stand for as they seem fluid. There are limited funds available (if any) and they seem to have a lot of 'promises' with the ubiquitous 'fully costed and funded' standard speak. Yeah ,right. There is also an element of the robotic about them when they speak but I do like Wes Streeting (I think). Really best described as politically homeless.

All parties cannot be trusted, they feather their on nests, and we the English people suffer for it.so gawd knows who to vote for.

I like my lib dem candidate, but I've always disliked Ed Davey with his gimmicks and his involment in the PO scandal. So not sure! The Tories are toast and I don't trust Labour, so may well vote Green, but not sure as they say a man can be a woman and there is no such thing as biological sex.

For the first time I probably won’t vote for any of the despicables in any party. Voting for the least bad option is too depressing. I trust none of them one iota.

At the moment, none of the parties are running a very good campaign, in my opinion. It all seems quite mediocre and half hearted. Perhaps, because the result is a forgone conclusion, they can’t be bothered to get fired up. It’s all very uninspiring to me.

Those of you who are concerned by immigration and transgender issues and have swallowed all the Tory propaganda míght as well vote Tory

I'm going to vote Labour cos I like most of their policies, I'm not keen on Starmer but I think he's been deliberately canny to avoid the awful headlines Corbyn got, they started the NHS so I trust them to fix it and it irks to pay lots for the dental treatment that till the tories got in I got for free. There are so many failures from this gov't, they've taken my tax and given me a worse service and I'm furious about it. Sewage in the rivers is just one example of greed and irresponsibility of the conservatives so I can't wait to be rid of them.

Reform for me

It's a tough one, this. I've always voted Tory but can't see me doing so again for many years to come. I've never voted Labour and still can't see me doing so - ever. The Lib Dems are a laugh and Green is not a party but a policy that all parties should have. So for now I guess I'll default to Reform UK

Don’t focus on the policies.
Remember the sleeze, corruption,
Lies, lining of their own pockets. Partygate etc etc.
Then vote Labour

Sorry but Labour have not got themselves into a fit state to govern yet. Read about Starmer's 'career' - not very competent and not showing integrity. Then look at who is at his elbow.

I'm 'tribal' labour/methodist - but will be voting for Rishi to form the next government.

I live in Scotland , so SNP for me. Glad I don't live in England as don't know what I would do down there.Regardless of the result , Scotland will still be governed by the parties chosen in England , same for NI and Wales as we just don't have the same amount of seats.What we really need is electoral reform, first past the post needs to go and we need a move to proportional representation , like we have in the devolved administrations.Then we will have a true democracy where all the parties have to work together for the common interests of all.It works elsewhere.UK is one of the only places where fptp still exists, it has no place in modern society and belongs in the colonial past .

I've been a staunch Tory for years - but no longer; it's a mess. I've no real idea which group to vote for which is worrying

We need a few more independent I believe.
