Cossy

Primrose53 pretty rich! Lots of people, from across the political spectrum, have names for politicians! I’d say typical of a Farage supporter to infer only Labour supporters call others names! Johnson did and does it very frequently!

I’m not a Farage supporter actually Cossy but as *Amalegra” says he does shake things up and says what he thinks.

I was talking about Labour supporters on here and other social media. I think I would struggle to find such nastiness from posters other than Labour supporters. It’s like they can’t help themselves.

I bet if I came on and called Starmer some disgusting name I would get reported.

Oh Primrose, you might want to check out posts about Angela Rayner...
Probably not by Labour supporters .

And awful posts and accusations towards Starmer too.

Primrose apologies for the Farage supporter comment, I was wrong to assume.

But I have to respectfully disagree that Labour supporters are any worse than Conservative supporters, I’ve heard some truly awful name calling from both sides.

Iam64

I’ll be surprised if many tories go to Remain.

Did you actually mean 'Remain', or did you mean to say 'Reform', Iam64? 😕

Apologies - yes I meant Reform .

The sad truth is that neither parties are worth getting worked up about. Who in their right mind would enter politics these days ?

Labour haven’t been in power for 14 years. Why are you so sure they won’t do a good job of turning this country round? They did last time. Just because we’ve had 14 years of inept government ( unless you happen to be someone that’s got rich because of them) doesn’t mean that all politicians are like the ones currently in power. Is it because the Labour Party don’t happen to have a leader who could easily double up as a stand up comedian?

They don’t have a leader who could double up as a leader, either.

Maybe someone that has a true vision and belief in this country?

The "sad truth?

Is that the politics of cynicism and despair may be a reflection of difficult times but only serve to further destroy our democracy as people see less point invoking when presented with this POV.

There is a great deal of disappointment from some Conservatives who are pushing this. " whats the point no one really cares anymore".
Well, the Labour Party do care and are trying as hard as possible to find ways through these difficult times with modest policies - a great number of MP's committed to making things better and a leader who clearly does care.

In voting, not invoking.
