Someone mentioned Paul Embery on a thread this week but I can’t find it now. He is an author and Trade Unionist. He was discussing the overuse of the term FarRight.

Tonight he was on TV and he said “ I detect very little goodwill for Starmer and this Government. I say that as a Labour member of 30 years. This is very unlike the public mood in 1997. It does not bode well.”

That really surprised me as I have been watching him for the last year or so and he is Labour through and through and I have never heard him say anything negative about them.

There's an awful lot of clamour up and down the country. I'm very close to the tragedy and sadly now there is a lot of unease and potential rioting.

I must admit I was quite impressed with Starmers speech but there's a lot of people who are furious that it sounded as if he was only interested in saving and protecting mosques.

The issue we have is a lot of people ate unhappy with the amount of immigration. And the real issue is you can't say that or you'll be called bigoted or racist. So there's a large amount of people who are suffering but not getting much assistance.

I'm mixed race myself so please don't think me racist. I just think it's an important issue and people should be able to discuss without being classed as racist or far right.

Same … and I certainly don’t regret it! Feel much better with Labour at the helm!
