Yaxley-Lennon - false passport?

Please can we stop calling him Tommy Robinson, but use hiw real name. Looks like his Irish passport was obtained with false information- stating he was born in Ireland.

Hope this will be quickly investigated by the Irish Government. That he is extradited by Cyprus- and refused re-entry into Spain where he has been living (under the radar fiscally, etc?).

Who's up for sending him to Rwanda? He seems stateless now...

JaneJudge Mon 12-Aug-24 19:53:00

I think he was adopted either from Ireland or to an Irish Mother
Unless that’s fake as well

Wyllow3 Mon 12-Aug-24 19:54:44

Extradite, bring to UK, charge.

JaneJudge Mon 12-Aug-24 19:55:12

I’ve googled
His mum was Irish his stepdad adopted him
So my Brian isn’t that hazy 😉

Fleurpepper Mon 12-Aug-24 19:58:54

He stated when he got his passport that he was born in Ireland- and it seems (yes, wait for the investigation) that he was NOT.

Lovetopaint037 Mon 12-Aug-24 19:59:59

So he is an immigrant!!!! Perhaps he will arrive in a small boat. Hypocrisy of the first order.

I’m pretty certain he has more than one passport. He’d need them in his line of work.

JaneJudge Mon 12-Aug-24 20:02:09

Whether I agree with him or not, he is still entitled to a passport IF his Mother is actually Irish or her parents

Obviously he lied as he says he was born in Luton? I don’t believe a word of anything he says though. I think it’s all fake

Fleurpepper Mon 12-Aug-24 20:12:13

As said, we need to wait for proper investigation.

If he is entitled to Irish passport legally, why would he lie about his place of birth? Could the Itish Government revoke because of this lie (if he did, as alleged).

JaneJudge Mon 12-Aug-24 20:14:16

Maybe his Mother isn’t actually Irish?

Babs03 Mon 12-Aug-24 20:34:36

The man is an out and out criminal, should be extradited, charged with hate speech and inciting violence and imprisoned.

Me!!

Wyllow3 Mon 12-Aug-24 20:48:19

I was going to say prison, but he'd just spread his poison there!

MissAdventure Mon 12-Aug-24 20:50:46

I think we'd n proof, rather than rumours.

Wyllow3 Mon 12-Aug-24 20:56:32

Of course you are right MissAdventure but he has done so much harm I think we are letting off some steam.

Including incitement to many of those now in prison - whereas he's off living in luxury hotels.

MissAdventure Mon 12-Aug-24 20:58:15

He really is a vile specimen, I agree.

Yaxley Lennon must have served time before. We once went to someone’s home address a few years ago to look at a dining room table and chairs advertised on gumtree, as we were about to go to the door we saw a sticker on their car on the back window saying ‘free Tommy Robinson’.
My husband is a man of colour so we turned around and went home.

You don’t have to be born in Ireland to get an Irish passport.
You are automatically an Irish citizen and entitled to an Irish passport if you have a parent born on the island of Ireland.

To obtain the passport you have to provide birth/marriage certificates, it’s a robust screening process.

He's been in prison a few times, he's also had various aliases

maddyone Mon 12-Aug-24 23:50:18

Why is he called Tommy Robinson when his name is actually Yaxley Lennon?
I’ve always been puzzled by that.

Babs03 Tue 13-Aug-24 07:05:11

Lennon called himself Tommy Robinson after an infamous football hooligan from a football hooligan crew supporting Luton FC.

Allsorts Tue 13-Aug-24 07:09:05

Throw the book at him, odious individual.

I also think he deliberately wanted to sound like "one of the lads" to push his propaganda, "Yaxley Lennon" didn't quite cut it.

That is correct. My OH qualified in that way.
