Donald Trump said his nephew’s disabled son should be left to die!

Today I listened to an interview with Donald Trump’s nephew, Fred Trump 111.

Fred gave an in depth insight into his uncle’s psyche - which is chilling! He said, in his experience, Donald isn’t able to show any empathy.

Fred has a son who was born with a genetic abnormality and, as a result, has severe physical and cognitive impairment. His name is William; he’s now 25.

Donald Trump has never met William. He has said to Fred, “why don’t you just let him die and you move down to Florida”.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are … sickening!

Although the UK hospital where I had a child in the 1980s was filthy and there was Legionnaires Disease there as well. Not a good experience.

I am absolutely certain it has happened in the UK,too. And in Australia. I had my first child in England and was totally neglected and nearly died. My Australian obstetrician told me I had been very badly treated but as it was my first then I had just accepted that they leave placentas behind and let you bleed for 9 weeks with no help whatsoever. This was in the 1970 s . I might add that the hospital was filthy and overrun with cockroaches. Australia was a breath of fresh air after that, even though I went ‘public’. I hope things have improved but I doubt it somehow.

Good lord, never heard of such a thing!

I’ve had four children born between 1985 and 2002, in all cases my maternity care, both pre and post, was excellent and the hospitals wards clean.

Yes, nanna8 some of the care in the UK was shocking back then.
People I know had a child who was severely brain-damaged because the mother was just ignored in hospital despite her pleas for help back in the 1980s.
I was also left to give birth on my own in the other filthy hospital I described above; luckily my child was fine.

That's a hospital we have to use now, another friend's recent experience was that it was filthy.

The hospital where our first was born in 1983 was spotless but when I was in the second stage of labour, Mr. S. and I were left alone.

DS was face presentation and eventually delivered by forceps, having been in the birth canal for too long he was blue and distressed so had to be placed in an incubator. 48 hours after the birth I was given 2 units of blood due to the amount lost during labour.

My understanding of the proposed Bill, Galaxy is that a person who is cognitively impaired in any way, cannot give consent and is therefore exempt.

As for Trump, I am not at all surprised at his total lack of empathy, and his willingness to see a person with a disability as of no worth. He is a truly horrible person.

I don't think anyone with half a brain has ever imagined Trump to have empathy, surely? This is just another story which illustrates his nature (and that of the people who support and enable him). His enablers don't want him to display empathy in any case - they want him to be ruthless as he creates the kind of world they imagine they will all personally thrive in. They'll learn. Meanwhile, the rest of humanity is hoping for an end to the kind of callous inhumanity that's currently developing before our incredulous eyes.

I think things will get worse before they get better really. It was a bad system before and now it has swung to the other end of bad. Oh for some decent commonsense ‘moderates’ with the ability and personality to get their voices heard.

I read Fred Trump 3's book last year and, whilst it is one person's view, it is worth reading.
Trump's family was/is, it seems, very very dysfunctional!
