Nothing but nothing, can excuse Israel breaking the cease-fire in Gaza

Unfortunately some cannot be argued with, their opinions are set in stone no matter how much evidence to the contrary is provided. So will put up no arguments. For me this isn’t a debate. It is a statement of fact. Netanyahu is committing genocide and now has the full support of Trump who is eager to get his hands on a prime piece of real estate next to the med.
That is all there is to say.

I do not support Hamas, nothing can ever ever excuse or condone their behaviour, however I don’t support Trump or Netanyahu either.

I do support both Jewish and Palestinian citizens and think both communities have the right to live in peace without flawed, corrupt or terrists governing them.

It’s terribly sad.

Stage two had been agreed with Israel, Qatar, Egypt and Hamas.

It was always thought that Israel would not comply with the agreement.

And so it has been proven.

I have just had a look and part of the second stage was that Hamas returned a set number of live hostages (which they have said are alive) and the remains of those who are dead.

Hamas apparently haven’t agreed to that.

I repeat I do not condone these bombings.

The problem here is that there are two subjects under discussion

Anti-semitism

The Israeli state.

The two should not be muddled.

So when posters criticise genocide, and other such evil acts, they are talking about the Israeli state. Those posters could equally post abhorring all acts of anti-semtism.

To muddle the two is in itself an act of anti-semitism.

Yes, thank you. It is an official and recommended tactic, to change any criticism of Netanyahu and this genocide into 'anti-semitism'.

The return of all hostages was contingent on Israel withdrawing it's troops, which Netanyahu has not done and he's now bombed Gaza breaking the truce. IMO he had absolutely no intention of following through to phase 2 of the peace deal and the "Hostages and Missing Families Forum has accused the government of "a complete deception" by pulling out of a deal "that could have brought everyone home."

The intractable bloodbath in the Holy Land (sic) is that both parties have right and wrong on their side and it is impossible to see how the matter can ever be resolved.
Somewhat contradictory to that argument is that
Power and Money seem to be the overriding factor in most things, especially war, so draw your own conclusions

I agree with Babs03. There are none so blind as those who*will not see*.
Genocide is happening. It has nothing to do with religion and nothing to do with defence.

How do we know the number of dead, can we believe the videos released , ?

10K, 20K, 30K,40K, 50K+, what's the acceptable number of dead Palestinians that is justifiable? How many dead Palestinian children are equivalent to one dead innocent Israeli child murdered horribly by Hamas? What is this massacre of Palestinians achieving? tbh I don't think anyone has a true figure of the number of dead Gazans, they are still lying under the rubble of their homes and does it really matter if the figure given by Hamas is accurate? What we all know is that thousands have died and little has been achieved apart from the complete destruction of people's homes, lives, families and hope, which is a very effective recruiter for terrorism.

If there is a question over the number of deaths then surely questions over mostly women and children

Who gave the figures to the charity? Not forgetting Israel wouldn’t allow any aid into Gaza and children were dying of

Recently BBC released a documentary but quickly withdrew it,
life in Gaza now, three children were witnesses, two were children of Hamas government officials, the third could be seen on many videos with Hamas terrorists

Talking of children in war zones. Have you seen the news item from an Isis Refugee Camp where a group of children stood mocking the Western camera crew by running their finger across their throats for the beheading sign. Really horrible; this indoctrination at such an early age.

With regard to Hamas rejecting the second phase.

That is incorrect.

The second phase was agreed, however Israel has tried to change the agreement on the second phase, and it is this that Hamas object to.

Frankly no one is surprised.

Israel was never going to comply with the second phase.

It’s ironic that posters who don’t like a different view to their own accuse others of having views set in stone.It causes a wry smile.
Gaza isn’t being bombed right now as retribution but for showing military strength to hamas to get them to release hostages and to ram it home that they may as well give up.
