Why the silence over the Red Crescent killings?

Been following it WWM2 at the slaughter and mass burial - and the lies that the ambulances had no headlights or flashing signals. At the attempts to bury the story along with the 15 dead, mass grave in the sand.

Ch4 News tried to hold them to account but were just met with the usual anger from them; no remorse whatsoever. They would have stuck to their original lying account if that video hadn’t been found. As with all of the other ‘ investigations’ I doubt if any more will be heard about it.

Yes, it has been on the BBC and ITV News, not just on one evening.
It happened a few weeks ago and I wondered how it has not been reported widely on mainstream media but the video exposing the lies has now emerged.

Not deliberate silence WWM2, just stunned by the enormity of it all.

It is truly shocking, the Israelis would have got away with their lies had the phone belonging to one of the victims with evidence of cold hearted murder not been found. The palistinian paramedics were unarmed did nothing wrong, and died a cruel and horrible death.

We now wait for what ought to be an independent investigation, instead it’s an Israeli investigation. Doubt we get any answers other than Israeli whitewash and in the meantime the news moves on. It’s happened before and will again.

It’s a tragedy.

Every day I think Rafif’s mother video’s Rafif’s dad holding his daughter with comments like. “We are still alive” and “Rafif is still with us”

I often think of Hind a bright 5 year old girl, cruelly killed by Israeli gunmen while she was trapped in a car who called desperately by phone for help. She was killed as were others who had tried to help. More innocent victims.
All that most people want is peace but the battle goes on heedless to tens of thousands who have died, unnecessarily.

It was the biggest killing of Red Cross / Red Crescent personnel anywhere in the world since 2017.
How the Israelis spokesmen have the gall to say it was accidental & partly the victims' fault, when we all know the IDF buried the victims in a mass grave, and their ambulances too,is beyond me.

They thought they would not be found out.

Very little I imagine Wyllow. I read there is little reported on their media because if there was surely most decent Israelis would be objecting to the casual killing of civilians, mostly women and children, going on day after day, week after week. Month after month and year after year.

They said on TRIP that more aid workers have been killed in Gaza than the sum total of all the aid workers that have been killed throughout the world in decades .

Well, I'm incandescent with rage and have been since this latest genocide began. Israel does what it likes and knows it cannot be stopped. Palestinians are treated by them as 'untermenschen ' - just as Jewish people were treated by the Nazis. The parallels are there for all of us to see, rendering calls of 'Never Again ' each Holocaust Memorial Day utterly meaningless and hollow. Never Again means just that: for anyone, not just Jews. I speak as a second generation 'Kind' ( my father was a refugee from the Nazis via Kindertransport, who actively supported Palestinian rights until his death two years ago.

Israelis have free access to the world media, as we do here in the UK, and so are aware of how their home news is reported outside of Israel.

The ‘decent Israelis’ that I know are appalled by all that has happened in the last year and a half but the over-riding desire is to have those being held hostage back. Until that happens the voice of decent people will be drowned out.
An Israeli friend said to me just the other day ‘We are Israeli Palestinian supporters but no-one believes that such a thing exists. No one supports Hamas or the IDF, but we all try to support each other.’

Meanwhile the diplomats keep on trying to find a way forward, so we cling on to the hope.

SM is absolutely awash with protest over Israel’s actions including many, many Jews who are disowning Israel.

When are governments going to listen?
