I have just been reading about this WWM2. I find that I don't want to take a side in this conflict as neither Israel nor Hamas get my support. However, killing aid workers and civilians under the pretence that they may be hiding terrorists is wrong.Hiding the Red Crescent bodies to cover up the act is an admission of guilt by the Israelis who were responsible. That is not a justifiable act defending Israel but a war crime. The line has to be drawn.

I have also seen that there are protests in Gaza against Hamas.

I also do not take sides, unless you count taking the sides of the children that have been killed and maimed.

That is my red line.

I will never support anyone who knowingly does harm to such innocents.

"The Israeli military has said an "operational misunderstanding" and a "breach of orders" led to the killing of 15 emergency workers in Gaza last month.

An inquiry into the incident by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) found a series of failings.

The deputy commander of the unit involved has been dismissed "for providing an incomplete and inaccurate report during the debrief".

There have been a lot of lies told in the account of what happened by the IDF. They have found a scapegoat and dismissed him so that's alright then.

The fact that the commander has been disciplined after the IDF were found out by the world shows a level of guilt I would have thought.

It is Israel's constant excuse whenever they blow innocent civilians to smithereens that Hamas were hiding amongst them.
If one poor aid worker hadn't filmed this atrocity on his phone the world would probably never know what happened. Burying the vehicles and telling lies after lie then saying they suspected Hamas operatives to be in the trucks as if that makes it all ok. It doesn't.

They're not even claiming there was evidence of Hamas anymore.

"The world is deceived by the situation in the Gaza Strip," says Moumen al-Natour, a Gaza lawyer and former political prisoner who's long been a vocal critic of Hamas.
Al-Natour spoke to us from the shattered remains of his city, the flimsy canvas side of the tent which now forms part of his house billowing behind him.

"The world thinks that Gaza is Hamas and Hamas is Gaza," he said. "We didn't choose Hamas and now Hamas is determined to rule Gaza and tie our fate to its own. Hamas must retreat. "
Speaking out is dangerous. Hamas has never tolerated dissent. Al-Natour seems undaunted, writing a furious column for the Washington Post at the end of March.

Time for the world to take notice and demand changes in the current Israeli regimes policy.
