And no, personally, I would not write to Netanyahu or Hamas. A better destination, in my opinion, would be the Israeli Ambassador to the UK, again, asking a polite, but pointed question.

For your information I wrote to my previous MP and he was always quick to respond, in full, after asking questions of the relevant Minister or Department on home and international questions.
Our new MP is rather invisible.
Incidentally, I emailed and wrote to Ed Milliband at least twice when he was a Minister in 2008 and am still awaiting a reply. Perhaps they got lost in the post.
