Climate activist Greta Thunberg was filmed giggling as she declared “f–k Germany” and “f–k Israel” at an anti-Israel rally in Germany Friday, video shows.

She posted a photo of herself holding a sign reading “Stand with Gaza” just days after Oct. 7, alongside a toy octopus — which some read as an allusion to the Nazis’ antisemitic propaganda visualizing Judaism’s supposed network of control over the world.

Thunberg, who is on the autism spectrum, later removed the photo and claimed she was “completely unaware” of the historical use of antisemitic octopus imagery and clarified that she meant for it to represent her emotions.

I don't think she is being used at all. She has come to the conclusion that so many of us have, some for longer than others, that a genocide is happening and that the Palestinians have to be supported. Why would that mean that she is being 'used'.

Who does this boat belong to and where did it come from? I think Annie's 'publicity stunt' goes too far, but I do think the protesters on it are naive. They can achieve nothing and IMO the situation is far too serious for gestures.

I know many who are 'on the spectrum' - they are often a lot more astute than so-called 'normal' people. She is neither naïve nor manipulated, I strongly believe. It just suits some people to say so, to diminish her intentions and goals.

I never said she did.

What I said seemed perfectly clear - as she had been detained previously in Germany she was saying f**k Germany. Rather a naïve thing to say when protesting in that country, I would think.

Never mind Greta being on the ship, it needs to be pointed out that there was also a member of the European Union’s Parliament aboard: Rima Hassan.

Israel just kidnapped a foreign government official in international waters on humanitarian aid to a sovereign people.

Glad that the protestors on the ship were not shot at. A group of International observers came under fire from the IDF, possibly last week, on the West Bank.

The last time a boat tried to do this a while back the Israelis shot and killed 9 people, so they were pretty brave knowing this.

The boat was taken to an Israeli port and now these Palestinian supporters will be deported back to their own countries.
