Strange how everything has worsened since a chaotic POTUS is in power.
And I ask again - what is the point of the United Nations? Really??

I lost all faith in the UN when they elected an Iranian to the UN commission on the Status of Women, which I believe they have been removed from.

As far as I am concerned the UN is about as useful as the proverbial chocolate teapot.

Several UN aids workers were sacked because they were involved with the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel

Is it fit for purpose?

Yes, would be great to get the hostages out, and the aid in.

Regarding Iran and transparency regarding their nuclear programme.

Two things..

Iran has been inspected every year by the inspectorate based in America and been given a clean bill of health, except a couple of weeks ago there was a report that was not happy.

When was the last time Israel was inspected?

I have no idea when Israel was last inspected.

Nor have I any idea when USA, UK, France, Russia or India had their nuclear assets inspected by independent agencies.

That is because it never has been inspected. It refuses sign up to the non-proliferation treaty

Everyone else has done - a total of nearly 200 countries and are inspected yearly, including Iran except Israel, India and Pakistan, South Sudan and recently North Korea.

I doubt they can be convicted , they built tunnels under
schools and hospitals so their thought for innocence is nil ,
they believe whilst they have hostages , living and dead they
have bartering power , all it gives them is more time, more loss
of life ,

I posted a photo of this young father and his daughter a few months ago. The weight loss by the father is so sad to see.

With regards to which news channel is reporting the murders - Does it matter.

You are talking about people being killed simply for queuing for food.

They have a choice - dying of starvation or dying from a bullet.

You can see for yourself footage of these poor people, numbers become immaterial when you see such evil before your eyes.

I remember my mother telling me about when they saw "those pictures" of the Nazi death camps after the war. Of course people had no idea what was going on. It deeply affected her.
