Trump is now wavering saying I may do it or I may not in reference to helping Israel.
He has proved himself to be a weak leader. A strong leader would make an informed decision not faff around.

To be a strong leader you need to have an overview of the issues and take expert advice on the complexities. Trump can't do the first because he's thick & won't do the second because he thinks he's too clever to need advice.

Trump thick? I doubt it. He saw off a slate of Republican candidates before his first election to President, has taken effective control of the Republican Party and has a number of foreign Prime Ministers dancing attendance. I don't like him and I doubt his policies will prove effective but he is not to be underestimated.

If Netanyahu trusted Hamas, he was an idiot - and I don't believe for one moment that Netanyahu is an idiot. He's probably one of the most wily political operators around. Netanyahu used Hamas to divide Palestinians. Both are against Fatah, who are in favour of a two-state solution. Netanyahu thought that by keeping Hamas on his side, he could isolate Fatah.

Well this was a real eye opener for me. Netanyahu supported Hamas for years! I needed to look at the truth of this but there are so many links to prove the facts that I have chosen one at random to post. The news is just suggesting that Trump will be making a significant decision within the next few hours.

So the question is whether the USA gets involved in hostilities or puts pressure on Israel to pull back.

Or even I suppose try to resurrect the talks with Iran - I doubt that though.

Now Israel has started he won’t tell them to pull back -they wouldnt take notice if he did.
My bet is either an ultimatum to Iran or direct action to bomb the nuclear sites

There are certainly channels up there on YouTube monitoring flights - the ones I've seen are American - but I guess there are British ones too. I could be well-informed re what the Americans are up to as regards what they have up in the air (presidential plane included) if I chose to follow it.

One can find out quite a bit if you choose to by hunting around....

Speaking of finding out the news we don't get told or we do (but it's biased) - Al Jazeera is actually pretty good...but what I would really like is to find out where there is, say, Scandinavian news channels up on YouTube or the like - in English obviously (as the only other language I speak is American LOL).

A good impartial world channel run from Denmark for instance would be ideal for trying to get info. that comes over as biased (or not at all). I want the British viewpoint - but I'd like to see an objective outsider viewpoint from one of the "modern" Western countries as I call them.

Iran have hit a hospital in Israel. This is really dreadful but the hypocrisy of Netanyahu in calling those who target hospitals as criminal terrorists is shocking when Israel has destroyed most hospitals in Gaza.
