Honestly, you can't make it up! It would be 🤣 if it wasn't so appalling.

Dinghies coming into Great Yarmouth, RIGHT NOW,’ the former Reform member wrote on social media

Authorities alerted, and I am urgently chasing. If these are illegal migrants, I will be using every tool at my disposal to ensure these individuals are deported

So who was it?

But the vessel pictured was, in fact, an ocean rowing boat crewed by ROW4MND, a team of four who are attempting to row from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise money for motor neurone disease

In there meantime, have a look at these dangerous "illegals"

could Lowe perhaps have just for a minute thought of maybe asking the authorities to check the boat out? You know, a telescope ?

I think you’ll find illegal immigrants have always entered the country by being smuggled on private craft, UK wide Primrose53, whether several, nine or ninety years ago? I don’t believe that can be stopped altogether.

Regardless, there is nothing that excuses posting as Rupert Lowe did, whatever else people throw into the mix.

Rubbish.

Okay, tell me your solution, I’d be interested to hear it?

I was stuck on a camp site in Calais in the 70’s ( it was a bank holiday and we couldn’t cash any money to get home) and there were people there waiting to get across the channel illegally.

Waiting for Mr Lowe to report any groups of nuns he sees as spies next

Yes, on of those very very rich farmers who complained about inheritance tax!

I support all farmers in opposing IHT on farms.

In fact I oppose IHT full stop!

What, even taxing the wealthy landowners? Why not them?

Farmers reinvest all the time into the land to produce our food, tell me where you imagine your food, good food, will come from when their family, bought up to farm, sell up to pay tax. Perhaps chickens from America for a start. The government has it so wrong.people were fed up with Conservatives so driven to vote for this lot. Reeves a big a distaster, crying in parliament she remains in position? Words fail on her. I would like to know the actual jobs that two posters on here who constantly tell everyone how wonderful Labour is, do. I can hazard a quess.
As for Rupert he made a big gaff, that's it, I can think of worse.

I still don't understand why its OK suggest not taxing wealthy landowners who dont use their land for food, in fact, take it out of food.

How on earth can we justify them getting a "pass"?

So, if not producing food, could you tell us what these wealthy landowners are doing with their land?
Rewilding perhaps? Environmentally friendly projects? Biodiversity? Forestry?

If the land is not farmed then they cannot argue they should be exempt because they are farming. Simple!

If the land is farmed and produces food then profit margins will be as slim as those of other farmers.
If it is still used as farmland, they would probably have tenant farmers on their land anyway.

Anyone who objects to UK farmers protesting about the IHT on top of other rising costs could refuse to buy British food.

Posters have already justified it by pointing out various factors about the farming life and food for the nation.

I don't understand your point, Wyllow3

If the land is not used for farming then it should not be exempt.
Farmers should be exempt from IHT.

How disappointing for him! Bloody idiot.
