Well of course he'd hit back. But thank goodness one political party has had the guts to hit out at him in the first place.

The speech was excellent. Farages reply? Is he losing his grip on reality?

Personally, I think of Reform as a one man Party.
If anything happens to him, one way or another, not sure what will be left of it.

They are raiding the royal parks. They eat carp too. No evidence of either actually happening.

This story belongs to the same irrational scare mongering tactic as Trump saying Haitians immigrants eat pet cats and dogs.

It was something that was reported and in the news maybe a year ago.
The wing of a swan and a lot of feathers were found on a riverbank and the remains of a barbecue, presumably one of those disposable kind. There could be various explanations for it including a swan exiting the river and being aggressive and a dog attack.
I do remember reading about it at the time.

He hasn’t hit back exactly, just made a cheap and nasty personal jibe. If he thinks Davey is wrong about him wanting to bring Trump policy to the UK then why not make an argument based on policy to prove him wrong?

I think that Farage is on a mission to thrown himself under a bus. He knows he isn’t capable of being Prime Minister. Like Johnson, he would like the title but won’t want to do the job or indeed be capable of it. Far easier to make a ton of money in front of TV cameras or right wing groups abroad or being paid to tweet insults on social media.

His recent appearance in front of the Washington Judicary Committee, where he went to talk Britain down, shows how traitorous and weak he is.

So he has to have a get out strategy. What better than to wind and wind the public until even his his own inner circle and fervent supporters realise he’s a liability and he “magnanimously” steps aside for the good of the party and scuttles off abroad.

It’s worth a punt at the bookies on Farage not sticking around until 2029 or even sooner if a snap election ever looks imminent.

But Farage actually said on the Nick Farari show on LBC this week that immigrants were killing and eating swans in the royal parks.

The keepers of the royal parks have given a statement today saying they have no evidence or experience of this happening.

In real life if I saw a man like Trump in the same room as me all you would see is the exit door swinging closed as I left.

I can imagine that is true. Someone was caught killing geese near us.
We had people living nearby in the woods.

The Royal Parks Authority say it’s not true, and if anybody would know, surely it would be them? Swans are protected birds, so if there was any evidence at all they would be onto it.

The previous swan incident wasn’t in the parks, it was on the Thames somewhere.

Farage claimed that migrants were taking them from the grounds of the Royal Parks though. That’s what is in the press now.

Then Farage will have to prove that’s so. Being him he won’t I expect.

There is no recent evidence of this. There was a fabricated Sun story 22 years ago and a BBQd corpse found at Windsor 12 years ago.

This is about the completely unworkable policy of wanting to deport people who have ILR. There is no appetite for this kind of cruelty towards people who have made a life here. Hence finding some nonsense to deflect from the bad press over that while still keeping up the anti-migrant rhetoric.

Once day people will wake up and realised they are being played.
