Never has politics in the UK been scarier. Reform has normalised racism, has made debasing our flag commonplace and has brought Trump style immorality and money obsession to the fore. I now see the touring mobs wearing their national flag as capes have taken to carrying crosses! We really don’t need extreme politics and US style evangelical ‘Christianity’ here.

He changed his name to a Thai name, he was originally British. I expect he wants deregulation of crypto as his payment if Farage gets to power. It can't be an overweening love of the UK, as he chose to leave. This should be the final nail in corrupt Farage's political coffin if there was any sanity left in the world.

I think this donation is disgusting no matter what political party it is, surely he would have more pleasure giving it to a children's charity or homeless charity

Of course if the UK had a more robust democracy, Harborne and Farage couldn’t bamboozle deregulation of cryptocurrencies without full transparency and accountability. Fat chance?

A Thailand-based cryptocurrency investor has handed a record £9m to Nigel Farage’s Reform.

Christopher Harborne, who previously gave £1m to Boris Johnson and millions of pounds to the Brexit Party, has given the cash to Reform as it tops the polls and seeks to woo senior Conservatives.

It is the biggest single donation from a living person to any British political party.

Overseas based donations like this should NOT be allowed. Who knows who is actually behind it? USA? Russia?
Disgraceful.

Farage did more to cause the 'illegal invasion' than anybody else by driving support for Brexit and ending the crucial Dublin returns agreement.

But it is important to distinguish between legal migration, illegal migration and refugees (something Farage doesn't want clarified as it wouldn't suit his purpose). It's also nonsense to call migration in any form 'an invasion'.

Well he previously donated £1 million to the Tory party and his company was awarded an £80 million contract with the MOD. He must think Reform are going to be in government soon, I hope he is wrong.

What people don’t realise is that 9 million to a billionaire is like £90 to normal people. If he feels so strongly that Reform is our only option why shouldn’t he try and help. All the other parties get big donations and not always from scrupulous sources, so why not. He might have family here.

He’s hardly been accused of terrorism just hurry words.
