If that policeman was hurt, how could he walk away, no stumbling. To shoot someone at close range through the head is murder. What has America become?

He was not hurt and reputable news organizations show and highlight that the officer in question was in no way in front of this car as she turned. Channel 4 last night highlighted and showed that to be the case last night with 3 photos very clearly.

Now there is a second shooting by federal agents in Portland. Trump and his minions are now using his thugs to cause the disruption that is clearly called for in Project 2025.

In many countries that have armed police, if you disobey an order the officer will draw his gun, that’s when injury or death happens.
We are lucky in the UK arguing with the police is an everyday occurrence, overseas it’s not a good idea.

I worked closely with Customs officials (the financial side) in Germany. Spain, Italy, (France was a bit aloof) for a short period in my working life.

They all carried guns. Never used them. But they were pleasant intelligent, very well trained people, who respected people’s rights etc.

Ran across a still picture on the internet for anyone who wonders about the shooting. Looks like at the time of the fatal shot (first one) tires were pointed ahead towards the officer. They turned after.

Could he have just gotten out of the way. She made contact in other video angles, but didn't run him over. It's easy to say yes he could, from our comfortable chairs at home. Maybe. Maybe not.

Although we will never really know, I do not think she intended to run him over nor he intended to murder her.

I think it was a fearful situation for all, something that should not have escalated like it did.

It's a tragedy that could have been avoided, had she not been obstructing or if she had just got out of the car...being arrested for obstructing would have been better than being shot in the head, I think everyone can agree on that.

I think that’s a very sensible analysis of the situation.

Police are armed in many countries and it’s not advisable to act in a shouty angry way towards them or disobey a direct order.

I’ve travelled in countries where police and army road checks are routine, you answer questions and obey orders because they have machine guns at the ready. If you attempt to drive off they will open fire.
I’ve seen others marched off a gunpoint because they thought it was funny to make smart comments., customs and police often don’t have a sense of humor.

Her car was not obstructing the road. The video clearly shows another car passing her on the road just prior to the ICE offices approaching her car.

With your statement about Starfire's assessment being a sensible analysis.

She was told by one officer, to drive away. She was doing that. How is that shouting and disobeying?

It was sideways on in the middle of the road.Why? If she was there just to observe why not park properly, or park and get out to watch on the sidewalk? There was def obstruction going on, no doubt about it.

Her car was not blocking the road.

It was not preventing the ICE car from passing.

That is the evidence of my eyes from watching the video, several times from several angles.

These were my thoughts too.

The US is returning to the wild west. I send all my hopes for a change soon, to all those who opposed Trump and continue to speak out. Be brave and don't question yourselves. Might used in this way, is never right. Only Right is Might.

If people wish to protest immigration trying to find illegal immigrants it’s up to them ( can’t think why they would do it) then they just have to do it in a way that they can stay safe, in a group away from cars with no kind of obstruction at all.
