Thanks Mamie but Tony Blair will always be linked to events which led to the start of the Iraqi war.

But not the aftermath which was the topic under discussion.

Interested to see how Iran is simply not executing any protestors this week. Keeps Donald on the bench.

I noticed and thought "They're not going to murder that protestor after all - good". But I guess it wouldnt surprise me if they're waiting for some distraction or other and then they'll murder him.

Though - goodness knows our own Government doesn't have clean hands right now - as it became very clear they were going to let the hunger strikers starve to death. It made me feel bad about being British to have to say to people "Yep...they will do that....they are prepared to see them starve". Guess I'd thought there are some lengths they wouldnt go to - but yep....they were prepared to.

This sounds about right. Iran will hold off with executions for now but is no doubt they will resume at a later date.
