I refer to Dh as Himself sometimes. It's common in Ireland. Maybe the others are extrapolations of that usage.

I've always enjoyed referring to people as "puddocks" as it is entirely inoffensive, meaning "frogs"

Is it 'pillocks' or pudoch?

The "self" bit is referential, referring, of course, to "I". These people are pillocks and that is my professional opinion. They just think it sounds posh.

Oh don't get me started on that one! A chap I work with never ever says me, you or even us! it's always myself, yourself and ourselves, as in on the phone to a potential client " I would like to arrange a meeting with yourself"

It really grates.
