I thought people could submit quotes they like— not necessarily to do with atheism or theism (that's why I put it in the philosophy forum) — any subject, just something that, as it were, hits the spot.

DH is an Evangelial Atheist Bags. I'll show him that when he surfaces - he's inclined to bouts of SAD in January and his glass tends to be half empty anyway. On second thoughts perhaps I won't show him!

On, Something Understood, on radio 4 last night, someone said the line, "Most men live lives of quiet desperation" and followed it with the lesser known next line, "And die with their song still inside them". Made me think, that did. Along the lines of "seize the day".
