My dear GM used to use a particular brand of hand cream with a very distinctive scent. For a long time after she died, I would pick up the scent, it was really strong. The feeling that she was standing behind me was so strong that I'd turn round expecting her to be standing there.
I never saw although I have seen others, but she was there, I'm sure she was.
