Thanks for that jeni I felt very old this morning, but wasn't born until after hostilities had stopped. I was teaching there much, much later and not in it's glory days! AH still had it's staff room adjoining the tropical "Winter Garden" though, which is open to the public!

anno When I read your post I remembered that JO4 was one of those who watched and enjoyed a concert on webcam that I posted about in February, and tried a pm to tell her of the latest one. It was not accepted "JO4 is not a valid nickname". I think she must have checked out again.

I worked at Woolwich Poly, later becoming Thames Poly, before changing again to Greenwich University.
We had a Lab at the Oakfield Lane site for a few months before it was closed.We took it over from the original occupants for Biologigal Sciences.
