Are we or are we not allowed to post on what we want as long as we stay within the guidelines? Or, now that the election is over, should we stop using the politics board? I'm very confused. Do the guidelines say anything about political discussion spoiling GN? Please advise

In general, political discussion has mainly been kept to the politics board. However, many threads morph and it's hardly as though it's hard score porn acts that are being described is it? Some posters took politics into SK so can hardly complain if there is a riposte can they? My main issue was the posts that basically told us to stop political discussion and get over it so why don't we agree that political discussion is a perfectly legitimate GN activity in which you join or not but you don't keep saying it shouldn't happen?

This is simple. If you don't like a particular thread don't read it or post on it. No response no thread.

What part of that do people not understand?

" I was talking about the headings when you look on the Active page, which is what I do, Ash Tree. They're not blue. "
Really? They are on my laptop. They're blue hyperlinks, i.e. clickable links, just as on the main forum page confused. (I too always use the Active page to find threads).
