We're thinking a strapline/sub-heading thingy might be a nice thing to have. Mumsnet has "By parents for parents" but what would work best for Gransnet?
We've canvassed the good folk at GNHQ/MNHQ who had two clear favourites from a longer list. What we'd love to know is whether you prefer one or t'other - or whether you have any other thoughts about what would work. The two in question are
Older, wiser but definitely not quieter
A bit older, a lot wiser

How about:
"Gransnet: we are experienced". 
I like monica's suggestion too but would like to have something that shows that we are fun too, similar to your first choice but not that! 
I like the diea of a strapline, but not keen on either of first 2 suggestions for same reasons stated above. I also like Monica's suggestion better.
What about something like ..'
Find wisdom, fun, friendship and fullness of life ...
Maybe got a bit carried away with the 'f's
What about 'Grandma Nose'. A sort of pun, suggesting humour but also hinting at the wisdom of experience ??
Just read through the posts and then decide whether age makes us wiser or more experienced
