We are constantly looking at the way we work with brands and thought it might be useful to ask which ones you like best, why, and what you would tell them they were doing right/wrong if you had the chance. We would also love to know about any products you particularly like from your favourite brands too

Gabor and Reiner shoes! I know they are comfortable immediately. Panache and Fantasy bras, the only ones that seem to fit perfectly. Birds Eyes Peas my DH won’t eat any others. Superdrug hot cloth cleanser just as good as Liz Earle and a quarter of the price! Oh and my walking shoes Salomon, bought them halfway through a week walking the St Cuthberts long distance walk years ago, felt like slippers!

Josef Siebel, Fly boots, White Stuff, Seasalt, Yorkshire Gold tea, Green and Blacks

Oh and Triumph bras, absolute must after fitter in M and S told me I was 'very difficult to fit'!

Waitrose, Lidl and Aldi are my favourite stores for food shopping. Charity shops are my fave places for anything else. Argos is handy. Can't remember the last time I went high Street shopping...it's fingertip shopping these days so I would have to nominate Amazon and eBay.

M and s triffle, love it. Also their fig room sprays smells expensive even though it's not. Birds eye, frozen peas and Clarks shoes and handbags.Oh and ribena although it's not as good as it used to be.

Cotton Traders clothing and shoes. Good quality, everything fits me perfectly, not too expensive - what's not to like..?smile

Bamm Wed 21-Feb-18 12:40:06

Something wrong with me, I find Lakeland boring. Like Boden, Hobs and have had some nice things from Tesco f and f. Also Triumph bras, No 7 serum and some Garnier. Really like Lidl.

I realised about the toilet roll just as I sent the post. Then thought to myself oh well it's probably needed after all that chocolate. Thought no one else would see the connection!

Cambia Wed 21-Feb-18 12:55:12

GrangegranL. You must be the same funny shape as me! Tried every bra in M&S and the fitter gave up! Back to Panache and Fantasy build for the oddly shaped!

Craftycat Wed 21-Feb-18 12:56:53

Ethically sound products that I buy and enjoy:
Ryvita dry biscuits
Nairn's oat cakes
Walker's shortbread
Duchy Original biscuits
REN skin care
Neal's Yard skin care
Tresemme hair products
L'Oreal make-up
Plus I avoid using too many caustic cleaning products which are killers in terms of the environment. The ones I use regularly & find effective are:
Cif Easy-Lift Kitchen
Persil washing-up liquid
I use vinegar and baking soda for some jobs - cheap, effective and better for the world we live in and are handing on to our grandchildren.

My GTech vacuum cleaner and Por Cóz, not common in the UK but it dissolves limescale like nothing else I've ever known. Makes Cillit Bang look like rubbish.

Rosina Wed 21-Feb-18 13:20:31

Nivea soft cream
Lakeland
Caramel yogurts
GTech hand held
My lovely old reliable car
Bosch washing machine and dryer - marvellous.
Computer
Smart phone

Finally, someone else who loves pickled walnuts! I'm so fed up of mentioning them and everyone saying "yuck"! Half of those people have never even tried them anyway!

Aussie Miracle shampoos and conditioner - amazingly I have been unable to find Aussie products in Australia, they've 'never heard of them' - can you ask them why not?!

sue421 Wed 21-Feb-18 14:55:53
