How do I bump up threads as they are showing

I posted something on the Royal thread this morning, another poster asked me about this, I posted a reply.

It never appeared in order, and when it was at the bottom of Active, I tried to bump it.

Still nowhere near the top, I expect it’s disappeared now.

Think no one likes me.

I’m not sure what you all mean by ‘the correct order’. A number of things will affect how the lists appear on your individual device. For example, how often your cache updates, how often the Gransnet server updates, how fast your internet connection is.

Why does it matter so much?

Well, it matters if I am replying to a query and my answer doesn’t appear. It was buried at the bottom of Active, and then it disappears.

If I post at say 9am, I don’t expect it to be behind posts 2 hours previously.

And my I pad updates very quickly

That’s why it matters, silly as it may seem.

Just had at look at the Active list.

I always thought it went in chronological order. It is at the moment except for two threads: Royal Chat and the one about Diana's statue.
