How do you delete a thread from I’m On ?

you can't delete a thread,, if you want to delete your post on a thread find it on 'i'm on' and on your own post click report and ask for your own post to be deleted.

They won't always do that. I told a well-known family tale on a thread then thought better of it and asked for my post to be deleted but no.

I asked 4 or 5 times and explained why but no-one at GNHQ took any notice at all, no response and the post was still there.

I don’t want to delete a thread ( what chaos that would cause?. I just want it removed from I’m On Thank you Notagran

How do I start a new thread please

Click on forums ^^ above
click on the appropriate forum underneath
click on 'start a new discussion' in the yellow box

It takes a month or so after the last post on a thread for it to drop off. If I could delete after, say, two weeks I would participate in more discussions Are you LISTENING Admin at GN? There, I'm stuck on this for a month

I think Atqui isn’t asking how to delete threads … I think she is asking how to delete them from the category ‘I’m on’

On Gransnet the threads drop off the list after a while , keeping it tidy which I like .

you can t delete them Atqui unless there’s a problem then you have to ask HQ to delete it but you can’t just delete threads ad lib

There's a button at the top left of the forum front page that says 'Start a new discussion'. Just click on it and up comes a box for the title and one for your opening post.

Hmm - it’s mainly ones I’ve posted on .It seems strange to keep them there when the thread is out of date.

Is it your thread? Or just one you posted on?

I don’t think you can remove those, just post on more til it’s out of your view?

The only way to delete anything on here is to ask GN administration to do it.

They won't even let us have an edit button here, let alone a delete one.

Must think we are too old to be able to cope with such things!
