I have made some polite requests in various threads, but they are not in any way 'fights'.

First thing in the morning it's hard to say exactly how I'll try to fill the day, but this morning I can spend some time and try to reply to you in rhyme, this morning I have fitted in taking some black bags to the bin, then I sought to avoid a schism by asking GNHQ for a forum on feminism, then I have followed the logon trail and had a look at my email, I get posts from several mailing lists, so I will check in case there is something I have missed, and then it possible some time I'll spend, to design a greetings card to send, then send to myself and when I receive the same, after quarantine put in an oak effect frame, a frame that arrived direct to me, delivered with my grocery. But this does not scan like a song - perhaps I've got the meter wrong!

Agree MOnica. Same here and I can’t remember most of them.

How often do people use the Acronyms list?

I used it once when I joined and haven't looked at it since.

EP you haven’t been on Gransnet very long can I let you know that we have asked many times over the years for many changes to be made the most notable being
*An edit button
*Original posters posts to be coloured all through conversation not just original post
*The games threads to be on their own on a separate page
Etc etc
They have NEVER ever been acknowledged

Oh crikey EP that article is one of hundreds they churn out, it's not a legal document, they will have not given it a second thought after they churned it out. They wont have seen any link between that and their abbreviations. Its bland saccharine advice to fill up some space (sorry GN). They probably have an article somewhere on speaking respectfully but they still allow the use of this emoji.

Well it has been published and that makes it a Matter of Public Interest, so they have opened the door to comments.

I noticed that it does not carry a date.

When you say it is not a legal document, what exactly do you mean?

It has been published and it needs to be archived by The British Library.

The lack of a date on the publication is unhelpful to future historians as well as present day readers.
