I thought it was my lap-top giving up the ghost so glad (not really) to read others have had the problem. It seems to have righted itself for the time being.

Hi all - copying from my reply on the other thread, as we need as much info as possible.

Can we ask what devices and browsers you're using, and can you possibly get us some screenshots so that we can see the errors?

We're keen to get to the bottom of this but we need as much information as possible.

Also, has anyone cleared their cache? If not, please do try - we were having some similar issues on Mumsnet during the week and refreshing our caches seemed to fix it.

Now you're asking... Something related to computes and digestives cookies...

I think when related to tech, cache is a storage system that remembers old pages. It sounds like it could possibly have cached some unresponsive pages.

There's an easy to follow guide here that'll talk you though clearing cache.

We'd be very grateful if you can let us know if it does/doesn't work.

Also, can you talk us through how you're navigating the site?
Are you clicking through via the daily email, or going through your active list? Or clicking into topics you're interested in?

I couldn't load Face Book either first thing this morning. Just got back from the hairdresser and his card payer thingy was horrendously slow today too. I think its the sun spots and flares!

How were you accessing the site - was it via the daily email, or directly on Gransnet?

How often does it happen?

Can you grab us a screenshot next time it pops up?

Sorry for all the questions, everyone. It's all needed, and it all helps. Hoping to have this sorted very, very soon. We're looking into it as we speak.

Hello!

Can you let us know what device and browser you're using?
Where did the error occur, was it from the site directly or from clicking through via the daily email?

Lastly, any screenshots of these errors are literal gold-dust to us! grin
