Blossoming why would history or cache emptying only effect GN all other sites are fine

For goodness sake when are GN going to sort out this long running problem. I've been trying to post without success and had Error 504 messages. Why is the assumption made that somehow its our fault over the cache issue.

Not only is it playing up but just booted me off and I had to sign in again I m normally signed in all the time

I haven't been able to access Mumsnet for days. Is anyone else having that problem? I can access the site but not read any posts. Please ignore if hijacking post. I don't mean to.

Site stuff kept me locked out for weeks. I followed endless instructions especially about cache clearing but it made no difference until one day, when it did, for reasons I still don’t understand. During that period I had no trouble with any other site

To add, I cleared my cache yesterday, it’s made no difference

*PLEEEEEASE *GHNQ, sort out whatever tech problems there are! Accessing and posting on here tonight is woefully slow and difficult. Repeatedly told Error504 and that the problem is at GN, not my search engine, or Cloudflare. This has been going on for ages now.

THE PROBLEM IS YOURS LILYGRANSNET we have all cleared our caches and still having great difficulty posting and then it often posts twice even when you’ve only pressed once and then during the afternoon it was off

We're very much keen on sorting out these issues, but we really need for users to try clearing their cache. This has worked for other users. As it's a device issue, it's not something we can change at the back end but clearing your cache should sort it out!

This wasn't a problem until relatively recently, so it's hard to see how it can be explained away as purely a 'device issue'.

Surely something must have changed at your end of things for so many of us to have started experiencing this issue so suddenly and only on this site?

It isn’t a cache issue, it’s some kind of site issue. It’s irritating that HQ persistently blame service users for nit clearing cache

had trouble for over a week just trying to type and message. The programme just sticks.

It's actually got worse as the night's worn on. I've tried clearing the cache again but that makes no difference whatsoever. It's taking ages to upload a post and when it does finally do it, it's duplicating them. Is the Gransnet IT system an Amstrad original and a bit past it's use by date?

It’s crashed more than four times this evening on my iPad.

I have had no problems at all and have dropped in and out all day. I am on a laptop.
