Why have I been rerouted to mumsnet today?

I get a daily email, clicked on that and got Mumsnet.

Another reason why I don’t get the gransnet emails and won’t. Couldn’t stand getting one every day, too much.

Why don’t you all have the icon on your homepage ???

Because mine is sent to desk top site via daily email, no app,,no icon.

Still being redirected to Mumsnet, anybody been fixed yet?

I don’t have an icon on my homepage because the GN app isn’t available on iPads.

I just open Safari and start typing Gransnet in the search bar, by the time it gets to the 3rd letter it finds the Gransnet forums and I don’t need to log in.

​There was an error when we scheduled our Mumsnet and Gransnet daily emails today. The contents of the daily Gransnet newsletter contain links to threads on Mumsnet.

I have unsubscribed from the daily newsletter as it was usually out of date by then time it arrived and most of it wasn't relevant for me as I don't live i. The UK

Mine too. Assumed it was a glitch. Back to normal today, though, thank goodness. I find the language on Mumsnet atrocious - or is it me? Saying the odd swear word is one thing but putting it in writing is another. Unacceptable.

I don't have a personal home-page if that is what you are referring to, nor do I have a Gransnet icon anywhere.

I always access Gransnet using the link contained in the daily e-mail I receive. I did not know there was any other way of accessing Gransnet.

That said, I am glad to hear it is a clitch in the system yesterday, and not just me it happened to.

That’s a really long winded way of doing things grandtante are you using an iPad or iPhone I just have any favourites as icons on my home page and simply click on the picture and you’re up and running

blossoming the Gransnet is of course available on the iPad that’s what I m using now I only have a iPad and iPhone and have gn icon on my home page to click into I don’t know why you think you can get on GN on iPad ????

I use the red and white icon as well Bluebelle and I didn’t know there was any other way either.

Can I ask how do all the email people get onto GN BEFORE the email arrives in your box and what would you do if they missed you out one day ?

I’m with BlueBelle. I just have GN on my favourites on my I pad, I never log out, I just click on it whenever I want to browse GN.

Never opted to get e mails.

If the daily email hasn’t yet arrived I just click on the previous day’s email.
I can’t find any mention of, or way of accessing, an icon on Gransnet - perhaps it’s no longer an option?

There is no Gransnet app!!!!!

You can, however, in some browsers (I am in Chrome) in the drop down menu find a menu point called "Add to home screen". This will place the GN logo on your home screen or desk top and you can access it from there. Most of the methods above seem quite a palaver.
