Well said. I have no personal acquaintance with h and m or any other royals and I’m guessing that’s the case for most people on GN. I am therefore amazed at the comments claiming to know what any of them “think”!

But tbf I accept that there will be posts purporting to know what they think (as pathetic as many of of these are) but to post outright lies is another thing altogether.

I too am amazed at some of the comments from people that "know" what the royals are really thinking, what their plans are and how they feel about situations. Those posters will argue with each other over who is making the decisions in the relationship between Harry and Meghan.

I do find it amusing though that the posters get in such a state about it, when they really dont know what they are talking about.

surely as they're paid from the public purse they are open to criticism? Before you jump in with it being his father who funds him...who funds his father ? All money the RF have has one way or another come from their subjects...horrible word....if they dont want to be public property then they should hand back everything they've had from the public ...simples

If there is a libel case to be pursued, it starts with the media.

Suziewoozie would you have burnt books in Germany as well? Surely if you don’t like the thread then you shouldn’t read it. We really don’t need you to censor us. Who are you to judge whether comments are lies or not? Perhaps gransnet needs to post a list of suitable items to discuss. Most conversations go along quite happily until someone like you and your cohorts come along and start attacking commentators you don’t agree with and not actually adding to the comments. And now you involve HQ, how disingenuous of you. You are like the leader of a gang of bullies gathering support for your cause. For some of us who live on our own gransnet is a source of help, information, support and yes ‘gossip’ about things that are currently in the newspapers. We don’t have anyone else to chat to and topical discussions are something that we can all talk about, something we have in common. It gives us a chance to stretch our brains that we normally wouldn’t have, a link to the outside world so we don’t feel so isolated. I have started reading conversations with one view point and by the time I’ve read the comments I’ve changed my mind. Why can you not live and let live and stop causing trouble. Or perhaps by my very reply I have given you what you wanted.

We are all entitled to our opinions, but I just found it very hard to read some of the things and not to feel upset about it. Just me being over sensitive probably. Better to not read them at all I suppose. However now, despite feeling that H & M should do what they feel is right with regard to their family in the beginning and I have said so on various threads, and I still believe that, as time has gone on I start to feel quite uneasy and worried about what the outcome is going to be for them. I just hope they will find the peace and happiness they want.

I reported a post which said Prince Andrew was a peodophile,
I was concerned it would cause this Forum problems, I was told it was acceptable it hadn’t been been against a poster.

If stating someone is a peodophile is acceptable surely repeating what is in the press is acceptable?
