With the stress and uncertainty around social isolation and lockdown, more of us than ever before have found ourselves comfort eating. Our latest research shows that 43% of us are snacking more than usual and 30% are struggling to eat a healthy diet. It’s all too easy to reach for a biscuit, and then another, then another. I just have a bowl of sunflower and pumpkin seeds with raisins and when I pass it I take a handful. This keeps the cravings at bay esp. as the raisins offer the sweetness I crave.

Crackers and cheese are my standby snacks but I do like Soreen with butter! My grandchildren like the little individual soreen loaves in the packed lunches.

i like fruit bread too . i find the malt loaf tends to bung my insides up. if i am peckish i like cheddar cheese biscuit /snacks .but i usually have a small bowl of fruit ..like banana /strawberries/blueberries/orange/apricot/ and a herbal tea. thats what i had for supper last night.....

i do like soreen ,when i do eat it .its usually with banana or vegimite..spread on top...

When I had gall stones a couple of years ago Ihad to keep to a low fat diet and stuck to dried and fresh fruit as snacks and the occassional slice of fruit loaf. I found the weight fell off and by sticking to roughly the same diet, I have not put the weight back on

I have to eat little and often so always have fruit and nuts nearby. I always look forward to Soreen banana loaf with my afternoon cuppa.

I tend not to snack but if I need something, I have some cheese. I do like a bit of Soreen with LOTS of butter but I have to be careful as I could easily eat the whole loaf!

I love a slice of Soreen topped with mashed banana with a cuppa for my afternoon snack, my grandchildren love to help me make this snack when they visit & help me to eat it of course.

I keep chunks of cut-up fruit in a container in the fridge. It's much more appealing than a whole fruit & can easily be picked at.

I try to stick to 3 meals a day. good breakfast then crispbread with cottage cheese & tomatoes with coffee for lunch then that's it until dinner time. after the main course - lots of vegetables and a little meat/fish, etc, usually settle in to watch tv with a treat - slice of soreen with best butter is a favourite.

I must admit I am a TV snacker I do try to stick with healthy snack , I do find Jelly with fresh strawberries and Oranges is the best snack for me because I seem not to have anymore after I have had it.

It's important to always try to eat well at meal times then you are less likely to crave snacks.
If you do want a snack, try to choose healthy options like fruit and nuts before reaching for the biscuits or chocolates.

I've been eating a lot more fruit during lockdown than I did before. I also like oatcakes with tomatoes and cucumber.

I hope Soreen aren't putting their company's products in the healthy category!!!! Fruit and raw vegetables and water are the only real healthy snacks.

I like to snack on nuts, I make up a little pot of mixed nuts in the morning to see me through the day

I love soreen and eat it without butter (never liked the taste of butter). I tend to choose 3 snacks for the day in the morning and eat them at intervals through out the day. Find if I do a menu in the morning I am pretty good at sticking to it

Cut your malt loaf into smaller pieces so it lasts longer but you eat the same amount and feel full afterwards

I try (very very hard!) not to snack between meals but some long evenings call out for a nibble or three...

Our go-to snacks are fresh fruit, rice cakes in chocolate or one plain chocolate covered peppermint cream. These seem to quell the rumblings.... for a while!

I like to enjoy frozen yoghurt bark packed with fruit - it's so easy to make and by using a fat free yoghurt and fresh fruit it's a guaranteed winner for all the family from the very young to the more elder of us!

Love, Soreen Malt loaf. Gorgeous toasted with butter or just on its own. Snacking? I love raw veg, carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, courgettes, peppers etc, Especially if you eat them with a lump of cheddar, oops smile

Explore the world of fruit. I was the only one in the family who snacked on this, but gradually I’ve won them over as they themselves experimented on the various berries etc. I left in the fridge. Now it’s easy to hit our 5 a day, without it being a challenge to get them there! smile

If I snack between meals I have fruit or occasionally a carrot. I have tried to eat more healthily during lockdown as I know how easy it would be to overindulge.
Must add that our family loves Soreen, with butter as you say, but it is so moreish that an open loaf will disappear at one siting.
