We have lived here over 30 years but would like to move now to somewhere quieter with a little bit of nature nearby and with no stairs. Just a scrap of garden and some fields or the like nearby would be great.
We had just had our valued ready to get started on the process when Covid19 popped up!

For a quieter life, away from noisy young neighbours and also to hopefully make friends and experience a nice community.

We have moved to get a bigger house each time, but we are now ready to down size so that we can clear our mortgage and then look to buy a 2nd property to rent out.

We have lived in our house for 40 years and now need to downsize from 4 bedrooms to a 2 bedroom bungalow. We want to stay in the area because I love living near the coast and rivers. Hopefully we will be able to put the house up for sale when things settle down after the pandemic eases.

I would only move if circumstances changed for me. If I needed a smaller house, less garden or nearer my family

I would consider moving home if we could be guaranteed a sea view

We have lived in our South London suburban semi since 1983 so moving is no bobby of ours. The house, shabbier now and in need of TLC, has done us proud while we raised our family. We could do with an extra room for when family stay - there's no room for both daughters' families - but not worth the hassle of moving. We'd like to live closer to both daughters but I'm not sure that uprooting would increase my sense of belonging and I'd miss my few good friends, not to mention the Freedom Pass (in non Covid times!) I'd also love to live somewhere historic and beautiful because yes, Suburbia is safe but boring. However - we have a lovely garden we've worked hard on and I'd hate to leave that, and we are close to beautiful countryside here. I don't rule out moving in the future, to be closer to grandchildren - but it would need to be eco-friendly, with lots of space, a large garden and easy to maintain.

I would love to move home and finally be able to breath fresh air in my own backyard.

If I have children, then will definitely need to move somewhere bigger. Ive just moved to Staines after living in London for over a decade - and I'd love to stay in Surrey as its much quieter than London, safer and prettier! Theres some lovely houses by the River; the dream would be to own one of them one day... perhaps I'll get luckly with a lucky dip! Fingers crossed!

I hate moving! However, I was forced to move 6 years ago when my husband of 40 years dumped me and I had no option. However, I was able to buy a little terraced house and actually I’m very happy here .... even got teeny weeny peeps of the sea from my “penthouse” Velux ..... aka room-in-the-loft!! The only time I’d consider moving is if there was enough space in the grounds of my daughters home for one of those posh cabin type dwellings.

Downsized 6 years ago to a much smaller house and would recommend.

I get bored of the same all the time so would move for a change. It would be exciting to redecorate a new home and work with a different layout. I'd also love more space so would move for a slightly bigger property.

If I had any money I would move into my own home...And move further south too. I'm in Yorkshire with no real friends now, so have nothing to lose if I move away.

We sold our house and are renting hoping to find somewhere near our family. We would love to find home with an easily maintained garden perhaps a patio for herbs and pot plants, in an area with walks so we can maintain exercise but with transport links to our family so spaced out in North Yorkshire, Cotswolds, Devon and London. Help us find our ideal home!

It is the age thing. The garden is now too much for us to manage and decorating is so much harder too. Plus we don't really need such a big house.

We have moved home so many times in the past that I have lost count. I have never been emotional about any properties we have lived in, to me they are bricks and mortar. However, the memories you have while living at each property you can take with you and they will last forever. If I was able to afford one of the Willerby homes I wouldn't hesitate. The houses all look such good quality and to have great neighbours of a simliar age and probably similar interests so close would be a wonderful pull to such a property. Keep my fingers crossed for my numbers to come up in tonight's lottery ;-)

If I was going to move it would have to be for a well laid out home with large bright rooms. It would be nice to be closer to family.

This is entirely pie-in-the-sky, but in the event of a massive cash win, my perfect house would be one with its own swimming pool! But more realistically, my house would always have to look out onto water or green spaces - and as much of these as possible!

We are very happy in our current home and have been here 35 years and love the area. We are lucky enough to have good neighbours which we have also been here 35+years. I would only be tempted to move house if we got new nightmare neighbours or maybe for a smaller more manageable garden as we get older.

We would like to downsize but my OH has a large fish tank, so a bespoke design would allow him to do what he wants with it.

We have a Willerby mobile home at the coast, didn't realise they did other types of build as well. If their bungalows are as good as their mobile homes then I would be happy to move into one.

I would love to move to be closer to my children and grandchildren and I will one day when finances allow or encourage them to move closer to me

I'd love to move to a detached bungalow reasonably near to neighbours but not have them on my doorstep, and close to the sea would be lovely

It'd take a lot to get me to move now. I'd definitely do it if I had to to be near to our family, but luckily they all live within striking distance. I'd love to live by the sea again, but that would mean moving away from all of them, and I wouldn't contemplate it.

We've been in the same house for 39 years, so must like it here. We looked at a few larger houses when we had the children at home, but for one reason or another discounted them all. We were very cosy when five of us lived here, but the advantage is that we now don't have to downsize.

I lived at 16 different addresses before we moved in here, so perhaps it was about time I settled down!
