...starts on Monday. Who's going to be watching?! Winners predictions?

hildajenniJ Mon 29-Jun-15 17:36:10

I'm afraid that with DH at home for most of the day Wimbledon will be out of the question.sad I will not be able to see any tennis until he goes to work at 16.00 hrs. Instead it will be home or garden makeover shows and dire films on Netflix. He is not a sports fan of any description.

hildajenniJ I have a spare bedroom with its own TV if that is of any use? Would he notice your departure for 2 weeks?

Pittcity Mon 29-Jun-15 21:04:41

hildajennij You should be able to watch on your computer, laptop, tablet or phone with earphones. Just go to BBC.co.uk and the link to watch live TV or Iplayer should be there.

What do we think of the presentation now with no Sue Barker - and the trio standing around looking uncomfortable.

Hilda - whatever happened to women's lib!!?? Put your foot down lass!!

Anniebach Tue 30-Jun-15 09:50:40

Andy plays today, goooooo Andy let's have another UK champion

bramblelover Tue 30-Jun-15 10:20:32

Anniebach. Couldn't agree more!

NanKate Tue 30-Jun-15 17:04:47

I am watching Murray and Kukushkin at present. Who is the Oriental chap they keep putting the cameras on ?

Anniebach Tue 30-Jun-15 17:48:42

Get your act together Andy please

NanKate Tue 30-Jun-15 18:03:53

He did in the end Annie and so did Nadal so we can breathe easily for a bit.

Anniebach Tue 30-Jun-15 18:06:21

Crumbs, hope he doesn't put us through this in every match NanKate, I had to resort to a squirt of rescue remedy

annodomini Tue 30-Jun-15 18:09:52

Mishap, I'm watching Sue Barker in the Wimbledon studio right now. She's wearing a blue suit that doesn't look very comfortable.

Mishap Tue 30-Jun-15 18:37:21

Yes she seems to have reappeared thank goodness. Clare Baldwin does not seem to know anything about tennis!

NanKate Tue 30-Jun-15 19:29:02

Annie I would rather have a swig of rum to calm me. grin

Anniebach Tue 30-Jun-15 20:29:14

I hope Andy improves his game , anxiety in this heat is tiring, and I mesn my anxiety not his grin

hildajenniJ Tue 30-Jun-15 21:03:13

Watched Andy win his match. Why does he give me such a fright so early on? smile

Anniebach Tue 30-Jun-15 21:33:16

We will be nervous wrecks before he strikes the first ball in the second round

whenim64 Wed 01-Jul-15 18:43:36

Wow! What an entertaining match that was, between Cilic and Berankis. On the edge of my sear for the last set.

Anniebach Wed 01-Jul-15 18:46:42

It was whenim, gripping

Grannyknot Wed 01-Jul-15 21:35:01

Has anyone ever queued for and got returns (tickets)? The website says to queue for returns from 3 p.m. ... I'd like to try but don't fancy standing for hours to no avail.

Rafa versus Rasta!

This is brilliant!!

Pittcity Thu 02-Jul-15 19:24:36

It's fabulous merlot.

merlotgran Thu 02-Jul-15 19:44:06

He's my new tennis hero. A little bit cute and lovely eyes. wink

Not a bad player either. grin

annodomini Thu 02-Jul-15 20:50:12

An exciting match, except for poor Rafa.

Pittcity Thu 02-Jul-15 20:52:35

Bit skinny for me, but love the Bob Marley tattoo!
He's 30, pretty old in the tennis world. So where has he been all these years?

Tegan Thu 02-Jul-15 20:58:16

Watched it at the gym; did he play well or did Rafa play badly [my knowledge of tennis isn't good]? Either way, I was stuck on the walking machine for ages cause it was the only equipment near to the telly [calves are killing me now].
