I had a great day yesterday as a neutral for the Sinner /Medvedev match. It was good to be able to applaud every great point.
Got a bit concerned when Sinner left the court, I donāt know what they did to him, but he came back a changed man for a while.
The weather was awful, with no play on the outside courts until quite late, resulting in huge queues everywhere as people took shelter in the eateries and loos it seems.
I must admit that I was surprised at the number of empty seats, late arrivals (one family arrived at the end of the 3rd set) champagne corks popping during play, wine bottles clanking etc.
Plus the young man next to me, who I think was Russian, sleeping š¤ through most of the first set! He had a flight tag on his bag and I can only think that he had been in the queue overnight for his ticket?
Iām very lucky to be going again tomorrow, Court 1, for the menās doubles semi finals .
Better weather, and hopefully no long delays on the motorway like yesterday, fingers crossed š¤
