Is anyone else getting with 4 commentators at the athletics stadium who are chatting amongst themselves whilst behind them there is lots of action going on if the clapping and cheering is anything to go by. I'd rather watch the action than hear their opinions on whats happening later. Its annoying and I'm left wondering what I'm missing.

Sorry I meant 'getting annoyed'.

I thought it was a shame they wouldn’t let him run “under protest”. At least he could have shown what he could do, even if they’d disqualified him then.

On the contrary! The GB medallists have been singing God Save The King with gusto? Likewise The Marseillaise.
Some anthems don’t have words , Ireland’s “Soldiers Song” is one I think.
How can you tell they are miming anyway- there aren’t any mics close to them?

I’d say most of our mob know it. It is played before every single football match, soccer match and rugby match . I love the French one, it’s the best of the lot.

When The Marseillaise is sung with such gusto in ‘Casablanca’, in defiance of the Germans, I find it incredibly moving.

I am more than furious that men who are identifying as women are competing in the female boxing category at these Olympics.

Poor Angels Carini (Italian) decided not to continue with her match against Imane Khelfi.

Can we get a little accuracy regarding Imane Khelfi. She has never, ever been male. Born female, female genetalia, always been female, just has a condition from which she suffer too much tosterone at times.

In fact the only 'trans' in boxing in this olympics is actually a trans male (someone who was originally female, but now identifies as a male)
