When Rafa appeared I thought lighting the flame was imminent, but no!

The light show off the Eiffel Tower is great- even if the “music” is repetitive
Looking back, if they had had the boats coming up the Seine three or four abreast and much closer together, that bit of it could haven over in a quarter of the time with no (much less) loss of interest and it could have been quite spectacular.
To me it was all just far too spread out, disjointed, bitty and while individuals might have been singing or dancing their socks off the impact from a distance was minimal.
