Do you still wear jeans?

I'm fairly new to gransnet so I hope I'm not rehashing an old thread but is there an age when you're past your sell-by date for wearing jeans? I'm a baby boomer and we were the first "jeans generation". I'm still fairly slim and feel comfortable wearing them but don't want to look like mutton dressed up as lamb.

I live in jeans, don't own a skirt.
One dress and that was for my sons wedding.
I didn't know there was an age limit on wearing jeans, I'm 70 and a size 12 so have no problem wearing any type or style.
Life can be short, go mad wear what you like.

I agree with MargaretX.
I wear them all the time, they are comfortable and practical and I can't see me ever stopping.

I wear jeans and cords all the time. I don't own any skirts either! I haven't any suitable shoes to wear skirts with either. I don't think my GC have ever seen me in a dress or skirt!

Yes to jeans and jeggings! My 87 FIL also wears jeans and a sweatshirt most days.

Another jean wearing, no skirt owning gran here. I still get a buzz going and buying size 12 (I was nudging size 20, 2 years ago).

Nobody has ever said, 'you are too old to wear those'!!

Well done, Mrs Pickle!

Yes, jeans and leggings for me. I do have one skirt but I never wear it since I finished work (years ago now!) In the summer I wear those 3/4 length cotton trouser type thingies with a t-shirt although I am currently looking out for cotton dresses instead.
