50 shades

Falconbird This was how my hair looked 25 years ago.

I'm doing 50 shades of brown. My hair was almost black in my younger days and is now white at the very front and sides and dark grey elsewhere. I don't really like the badger look so my hairdresser does my roots in mid-light brown and the sun provides the highlights. I quite like being sort of ginger

I do love these photos, I would add mine from the weekend but I don't have much grey just yet. I have the odd hair, and my 'sideburns', plus a bit in my fringe that is like a white streak. It's so lovely to see all of you in one place.

My hair going grey does worry me, as I am quite red naturally. I'm really not sure what to do with it, as I have looked at all the hair colours and even tried some brown lowlights, but those didn't suit me. I quite like having the warm tones of my hair colour as I am naturally very fair-skinned and I don't want to look like a washed-out ghost.

Well - I shall add last weekend's photo to the Rogue's Gallery! I currently like browns and all sea shades, from grey-blues to bright turquoises, with a few pale greens and deep pinks.

I have parted my hair to hide the white streak in this photo. It's getting larger by the month, though. Maybe I need to put a streak in my streak?

I can't see any white steaks! My two SiLs had quite dark auburn hair which has gradually gone lighter without any white/grey hairs being obvious at all

My hair is refusing to go the whole hog about going grey, it looks mucky with grey mixed in with brown. Maybe one day.........

Sadly, the curl isn`t natural, it`s down to perming lotion and a hairdressing student at the local college! The puppy is my daughter and her husband`s, name of Duke, and he`s gorgeous. Will think about the portrait Soop.

Here is a picture of me with my grey hair with Shaun the Sheep. My hair was originally very dark brown.

My DGC were incredulous when my DD told them that my hair used to be brown, and Grandpa's was black,cand he had lots! So here I am with grey hair which is becoming silvery white as the time passes.

I've been thinking of letting nature takes its course but the trouble is I had dark brown hair with chestnuts glints.

Now I have bright silver coming through on parting and a little at edges - the rest looks a murky faded brown, not at all attractive. I've been dying it myself, a medium brown.

I can't afford to keep paying for highlights - did wonder if I should have it all bleached lighter, then see what happens.
