what to wear at 60 plus?

Can someone link to one of these floral "no no" skirts I'm best avoiding please? Just so I can check that the long skirts I own aren't the same! I think they were described upthread as typically worn by some women once they reach a certain age... I'm curious

Today I've got on a Marks and Sparks dress for the first time, that I bought last summer, just before the "summer" disappeared completely. It is blue with white broderie anglais. It could be Per Una. I can't see the label as I am wearing it.

Short sleeves as my arms are still quite presentable.

I think I have reached that time of life when you become quite proud of your age, instead of trying to hide it.

I sent for this dress from M and S yesterday. It won't be that short on me as it looks on the lanky model!

The model is 5'11! I'm 5'2.

I would like to know as well, wildrose.
At the moment I have a mind to throw almost all my clothes out. However, I can never find anything I like in the shops these days to replace them.

I still wear what I wore 10 or more years ago, because it is what is in my wardrobe. No style icon here.

And me grandtee I put on a pair of sandals last summer but they were so old the glue stopped working and everything fell apart- very inconvenient.

I have stuff that I know it is at least 20 years old because I know what I bought it for. Pays to buy quality
