I normally have a lot of time for Camilla and like her style, but this time her fashion adviser somebody needs sacking!!

OMG - it looks like her petticoat has lost its elastic and fallen down.

Pamaga Mon 30-May-16 10:58:18

I don't like Camilla but I personally am sick of media - and people on social media - making judgements and comments about what women choose to wear. Many of the comments would not be made to the person's face. I was so sad to read Sarah Millican's article on the subject

Horrible dress, far to frilly, it looks as if it has been made out of cut off pieces and sewn together by children ..

townie Mon 30-May-16 11:24:20

Not up to her usual standard. Think she usually dresses very well and appropriately.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 11:30:21

Hooray! A fellow thinker at last! Agree magsymoo. smile

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 11:32:16

The rest of you are all so letting the side down.

Don't any of you have the face to quite the "I will wear purple" again. hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 11:32:57

quote not 'quite'

Gunilla Mon 30-May-16 11:36:02

Frilly bit on the hips...not a good look even on a slim lady as camilla.

Gunilla Mon 30-May-16 11:36:42

Frilly bit on the hips, not a flatering look even for a slim Lady like Camilla

Anniebach Mon 30-May-16 11:40:54

What side Jingle? Are you saying women must applaud all women no matter what they do,say, wear ?

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 11:45:28

Yes. smile

Even Bags with her boots.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 11:46:01

wink for bags if she reads this!

Anniebach Mon 30-May-16 11:50:48

So I should lie and say Sarah Palin would be a great Vice President . Thatcher was the greatest PM this country has elected. Moira Hindley was led astray. It's understandable Nigella Lawson had an affair whilst her husband was dying ?

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 11:54:16

You're being a silly Billy now. smile

Not worth an argument. Plants to plant and a Spring Fair to go to.

(Read the poem. That one by Jenny Joseph)

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 11:55:59

this one

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 11:57:33

And DO NOT put words into my mouth about Hindley. Or I shall become very angry

Anniebach Mon 30-May-16 12:22:45

Then best not to make others angry Jingle. Why not wear purple or spit , sit on pavements ? Just don't expect everyone to be kind

I think Camilla has again brought dignity to the title Princess of Wales - which she is - but that dress was most unflattering

Riverwalk Mon 30-May-16 12:23:43

When I first glanced at this yesterday, photographed from a different angle, I honestly thought it was Grayson Perry.

Neversaydie Mon 30-May-16 12:58:43

Such a shame Her actual wedding dress (the blue one) which I have seen 'in the flesh'so to speak was exquisite .I suspect she may gave winced when she saw the pics

loopyloo Mon 30-May-16 13:16:35

Yes, less is more. Single skirt would have been better.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 13:35:00

Anniebach I often picture you, sitting amongst your little terrace of Welsh cottages, under a slightly bleak Welsh mountain, desperately trying to find a diversion by trying to pick an argument with another Gransnetter. grin flowers cupcake

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 13:36:44

I think the frock probably looked much better in the flesh, and in amongst the other guests at that high falutin' wedding. She probably fitted right in.

Anniebach Mon 30-May-16 13:38:45

You really must find more interesting things to ponder on Jingle . I don't live in a cottage / terrace or under a mountain and mountains are not bleak they are beautiful .

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 13:40:23

I will give you that mountains can be beautiful. smile

KateG Mon 30-May-16 13:41:00

Whilst appreciating that Camilla doesn't want to try and compete with Diana in the style charts, why on earth doesn't she employ a stylist. This dress is absurd beyond reason. Half the time she goes around dressed like the queen mother instead of a woman who is still young attractive and rich enough to be able to buy and wear stylish and flattering clothes.
