Afternoon all.
My search continues; i had a bra fitting at M&S yesterday and ended up with the same bras/size I've worn for the last few years, and they are so uncomfortable. However, this morning I went swimming with my DP but i forgot his trunks so we didn't get as far as the pool. But - I kept my cossie on (I always put it on as soon as i get up on a swim day) and it is so comfortable. It's only a cheapo from Sainsbury's, but it gives me the support i need and doesnt hurt anywhere. Why can't bras be like this? Is it worth getting a one piece thing and are they as comfy? Only problem with wearing a cossie all day is when i need a wee ?

Delimira Women's Front Closure Full Coverage Underwire Non Padded Racerback Bra.
For me this is the perfect bra! (found on Amazon uk)
It fits perfectly, gives great support and because the straps cross over at the back, there is none of that irritating slipping off the shoulder that one gets with so many other bra straps.
The front fastening is easy and great for anyone who has a problem trying to fasten their bra at the back.

I'm with you ana I can't remember how many stores I have been to and spoke with people in bra department about lack of bras in store most of them have told me they are discussing this topic but I won't hold my breath . My last few bras have been from debenhams on line of course

Having always been big, I've given up wearing normal bras I wear a M & S sports bra most of the time , I'm not bothered about a 'cleavage' so they minimise me and stop wobble. I wear an E cup and they also do a nice bra for special occasions or clothes that don't look good with a sports bra they have a narrow band of silicone in the straps that don't slip at all. The sports bras give me an ok shape but are so much more comfy than struggling with wobble and slipping straps all day long.

I wear post surgery bras after having a mastectomy years ago (they're usually horrendously ugly or massively expensive for pretty ones ?) and have just found a super comfy one at M&S. Soft stretchy fabric, comes in basic colours. The fitter told me that lots of non surgery ladies are buying it because its so soft. Worth a look?

You need to have a measurement etc by someone who knows what they're doing. And no axe to grind with makes etc.I've got very broad shoulders and am fairly large chestwise so always bought a 38B of various makes.
Then a few years ago I was in Oxford St. John Lewis and decided to ask for a bra fitting. The lady said you are 34DD shock
She recommended a bra Triumph Doreen and I've been wearing them ever since. You can still buy them online.
So try to get a good person to measure you.

M&S and Bravissimo have vests with "Bras"in and adjustable straps, that for the winter have been a complete revelation for me. I am 34 G so plenty of chest (!!) but if I buy a 34 vest they fit brilliantly, give good support and are SO comfortable!!
