My hair is very think and limp and fine. A day after washing, it's ok - but after that it goes dryish and fine and flyaway. If I use condition then it goes limp and flat and dead. What do other grans use? TY!

I posted about this a while back and tried some things that were suggested . The best by far was not using conditioner after every shampoo and when I do use it I only use a small amount. I tried a few styling products too and the best for me is Bed Head, Small Talk.

Post cancer treatment ( two years on) my wavy hair has grown back but is more difficult to manage. It is finer than it was ( especially on top) and frizzy.
Still not found the perfect thickening/ smoothing shampoo/ conditioner. Any suggestions?

This thread is eight years old, I'm sure there will be other products available now.

I have been using Lambert’s Florisene tablets for several months. I have been under dreadful stress for the past 18 months and felt my hair was thinning so I tried these and think they have helped.

A Dr recommended them in a magazine (not an advert) and they are scientifically backed and contain loads of vitamins etc which women need. I also use a thickening shampoo and conditioner which I buy in Tesco in purple bottles.
