I find Ebay and Sports Direct slightly cheaper than Amazon when P&P taken into consideration.

I just wanted to share my delight at my second pair of Skechers Go-Walk as the best ever.
Not a stranger to Hotter, which I mostly love (although I only warm to a few styles) and Gabor Lady for my “posh” shoes which I can also wear all day long.
However these are like wearing slippers. Totally flexible, lovely squishy soles and so cheap.
I know I am in good company too as I spotted Dame Maggie wearing them in her film about Dames!

Love my Skechers I have 3 pairs they are the most comfy shoes hubby now wears them too. He no longer complains his feet hurt since wearing them.
I just about live in Skechers - not only the Go-Walk ones, but I've got a pair of Go-Step and my latest is a pair of EZ Flex. They are all heavenly to walk in, just so comfortable. In the warm weather, if I'm not wearing my Skechers I'm wearing my Think! Julia sandals, which I love equally.
I make no apology for putting comfort before fashion these days - I spent years submitting to the tyranny of fashion, but no more!
I love them too. I have a pair of Mary Janes with a stretchy strap, a pair of go walks and a sturdy pair of trainers.
I also have a cupboard full of sandals, leather shoes etc that I now seldom wear. I reach for the Skechers every time. I saw them on QVC who claimed they were washable. Is that true?
I don't but online as I need to try then on before buying. They are heaven to wear - you don't even think about them.
Am I the only person who is not keen?
Skechers jut don’t seem to quite fit my feet, I’ve tried many of them, but to no avail. I’ve given up now and decided that it#just meant to be.
I saw them on QVC who claimed they were washable. Is that true?
Yes, perfectly true mrsmopp - I have a pair of cream Skechers that get grubby no matter who careful I am. I pop them in the washing machine on a 30 deg wash and they come out good as new!
Whilst in the past I thought my Clarks moccs were the bees knees in comfort and not bad in style either (gold in colour),that was until I first tried Reikers Sneakers................my feet slid into that sheer bed of utter comfort........... and for days I dare not even remove them for fear of losing that great comfort!!!
Since then I have availed myself of another pair of Sneakers .........white leather by Gabor.......... and although perhaps a good second in the comfort stakes, they are not up to the great comfort of these reiker shoes.
Feet used to be a nightmare..............now what an utter pleasure.
I have just had a arthrodesis of my great toe and a joint removal of the second plus bunion removal so my poor foot is very sensitive. I have Skechers gold shoes which I slipped staright back into but have also bought a pair of Go Walk which I haven't tried out yet (only just be allowed to weight bear) so I am encouraged by your endorsements. They are not attractive but needs must. trying to find some nice shoes to wear with going out clothes especially dresses. I have ordered some Gabor so we will see. I have to say barefoot is best but it doesn't take you out of the house very far.
Yup they are brilliant. And if you want smart flats, at the moment M&S have the most amazing very soft leather flats in red, mauve or green ( not sure about the mauve or green) but bought the red and they are fabulous. Wearing them to a wedding in the summer, don't do heels anymore!
The question is...which Go Walk to buy, the 2, the 3 or the 4.
Any ideas?
I love my Skechers, I have a black pair for work, they are starting to wear on the inside now, so in need of another pair when I can afford some. I did get a grey pair of shoes from ShoeZone which look like the Skechers Go Walk, think they were around £12 and they are actually very comfy too.
Yes, it would seem there are many Skecher copies in the shops now. The style, canvas/mesh uppers, memory foam inners and soles are the same. But they are much cheaper. Next time I drive to to the shops I might try some 'fakes' on for size!
Skechers cannot be expensive to mass produce when you look at the materials involved. I wondered why they were so expensive when I bought my first pair a few years ago. They seemed a bit like upgraded old style pumps (or plimsolls if you're south of me.) My friend recommended them. There are lots of fans out there, but I get the feeling they must be a very nice money-maker for producers.
I see now, by the latest TV ad, they are branching out and trying to appeal to the younger, sporty woman, rather than the middle aged or older woman looking for day long comfort.
No you are not alone dogsmother, I find that my feet ache after wearing any shoes that have a comfort sole, including Skechers, but that's me, my feet and my problem.
I love my sketchers, I have a few pairs. DH was also recommended them for his RA, he now also has a few pairs.
Went into town yesterday and into the Skechers shop, wow what a lot of styles to choose from, I could have picked out half a dozen, but stuck to one, the Go Walk Joy which I bought in navy blue with a white sole.Found that I was half a size less than I usually wear, as they do come up larger.
So comfy, and perfect for bare feet, although I could wear them with a thin sock if wanted.
Am a Skechers convert now, so thank you Mawbroon
I used to be able to buy a pair of Hotter size 6.5 and they would fit perfectly but they have changed the fit now and are useless to me. I have a couple of pairs of Skechers and they are comfortable but not exactly stylish.
Maw - I have 3 pairs like yours. One dark blue, the other 2 grey. I wear them inside as slippers.
I have 2 pairs of GoWalk laceups for outside, one pink, one black.
They're pretty hard wearing too -I've had one pair for about 4 years.
Must admit they are too hot in this heatwave. My feet cannot breathe. I've gone back to my flip flops till it cools down a bit?
My husband has problem feet and Reiker shoes are the only ones he is comfortable in
Panache.
I have several pairs of Scholl sandals for the summer.
I agree MawBroon it's Sketchers and Gabor all the way for me. Honourable mention for Joseph Seibel too!
I have changed from wearing the usual Go Walks to Skechers Velcro sandals in this hot weather. They are just as well cushioned as the shoes and don't make my feet sweat. The only problem is that my feet are permanently filthy with dust, and I have the beginnings of hard skin again. The Scholl 'cheese grater' is being well used!
Totally agree I've always had problems with my feet I have go walk 3 and find them so comfortable and I recently bought the sandals which are perfect for the summer
I'm a Josef Seibel fan. Mostly for winter shoes. In the summer I can not be parted from my Birkenstocks.
I love Skechers and don’t think they look ugly at all. In fact today I’m in Birmingham with a visiting friend and will visit the Skechers shop in the Bull Ring.
Such a lot of choice and styles.
