something fairly simple, maybe a v neck. buttons up the front. Midi length? Nice fabric.

Does anybody know of such a thing please?

thanks for your ideas folks. Some are too clingy for me. Sorry clingy is a non starter. Post menopause I quickly gained 2 stone and haven't really got my head around it.

I think the most suitable might be Kim and Co petite, although when my son lived here we used to crease ourselves laughing at her going on about her pieces.

Ive just been on M and Co - this any good for you?

ah ha! I think I may have struck gold there!!

I didn't see anything like that in their shop!

I also like Lindybop. Someone on GN recommended them a while back and I have had a couple of lovely dresses and tops from them. The quality is very good.

Pamela J1 Sorry only just seen question. I think Seasalt sizes are fairly accurate. Maybe best to try 12 and 14. They wash so well and some don't need ironing!

Here we go again. Not men in short skirts this time though but “bare backed bandage dresses” ??? confused
Why was this poster not barred after last weeks incidences of spam?

Oh, I don’t know. I quite fancy being a ladylike hotshot.

I wear Toast dresses because they are made from beautiful fabrics, but the cut is fairly plain, so they fall beautifully. There are always some which button up at the front: there’s a nice denim one I have my eye on.

DoraMarr Toast is a bit out of my price bracket. Just looked at the website and wasn't sure about the DMs with dresses look!
Another vote for Seasalt here.

I've just bought a Seasalt top and it is made of bamboo - I'm a bit nervous about washing it!
I remember when DD bought bamboo nappies and the instructions were not to tumble dry.

There seem to be a lot of Toast dresses on ebay. I might just be tempted.

I buy Toast dressescin their sale- John Lewis do them too. I buy some full- price things each year too. They are so well made they last ages, and I really like the styles. I wear ankle boots with dresses in the winter, with tights, and Converse or Spring Court canvas trainers in the summer- have given up heels. I’d love to be able to wear them, but I have difficult feet!
