I've noticed that Tesco seems to copy M&S clothes, cheaper versions. They've got the pseudo tartan styles too. I think they're awful. Shirts like lumberjacks wear. I do like dark green, but won't be buying that dress.
Is it a maternity dress? You can let out the waist as you expand.
I shocked myself by buying two pairs of trousers in M&S yesterday - a linen casual pair and another pair in white linen They were half price, should do for my hols.
There is nothing interesting about that dress! I know I'd look like a sack of spuds if I tried it on. I did think about going to M&S today but road works are again making it difficult to get in and out of our village, so got more or less stuck!
I am expanding already Jalima ( nothing to do with maternity though.) I may have to buy that green dress. Please rush me a size Lxxxxxxxx in a plain brown wrapper.
Jalima nothing at all wrong with linen trousers, as long as I don't have to iron them! I did, of course mean the dress, although I think the word "frock" might be more appropriate!
By jove, that's it then. The wardrobe mistresses misread the number of costumes needed for Star Wars /The Handmaid's Tale, made too many, then sold them off at a bargain price to the buyers at M&S. (Other costume dramas may be available)
as long as I don't have to iron them! I'll show them to DH and he'll have the iron and ironing board out before you can say 'linen trousers crease'! And will then iron them for me
Some of Joe Brown's clothes have the M&S shirt look. I like Joe Browns but the M&S shirt seems to be trying too hard though I can't really say why. The green dress is awful.
Jane10?? Noticed in an M&S advert the other day this weird practice of having half your shirt tucked in and half out- only shown from the front where the shirt divides so can only imagine what a bunched up mess it would be at the back!
