Marnies Curvy Girls Clothes and Ulla Popken have the type of tops you are after. They are not cheap, but there are always bargains from them on Ebay.

Try Tillets online fashion. They do have shops ..think in North of England. Lots of loose tops there. Also just been looking at THEFASHIONSHOP.ONLINE.

Definitely Yours clothing. They have a lovely choice and I've always found their clothes seem to hang in a very flattering way( I'm the same size and issue as you?). Their prices are reasonable and sales brilliant. I think their sizing is brilliant too, I don't often try things on but have never had to take anything back! I'm now feeling quite nostalgic for the nice tops I have from there and havent had chance to wear for a while!

I have been shopping with Yours since before it became Yours (previously Size Up and Breakers) and though sometimes I have bought things from supermarkets, I always go back to Yours.
They have some lovely bardot tops at the moment that you can wear on or off the shoulder and their basic t shirts are good - the ones they call "seamed " have the back in two sections so a looser fit - great if you have a tum!
Can also recommend their stretch rib trousers - I used to wear them for work when I was a merchandiser - so comfortable !
PS if you have a store near you, most are now open - the staff are mostly plus sized too so know all about the pros and cons of being a lucious lovely!

If you just want a good quality T-shirt there is a company called Gildan which has a large range of sizes and colours. Not too expensive.

I've recently bought two tops from Cotton Traders which are made from viscose - cool and comfortable to wear and doesn't crease as badly as cotton. They still have them in the sale - try 'Frill sleeve top'.

I love Lands' End (sorry about the apostrophe) - have a look at www.landsend.co.uk/ - they have very tummy friendly t-shirts.

I'd go for loose tops rather than t-shirts (that tend to cling). I do like the longer sort that flare out a little, so they still fit on the shoulders but skim over the 'lockdown belly'.

Hi Jellybeanjean....take a look at a company called Luvvy, they do a range of loose linen type tops in large sizes & they don’t cost the earth....

Its not my tummy but my hips which are the problem. I don’t spend a lot on clothes so often shop in Asda, they are very reasonable and have a nice selection of loose tops. As Hetty said tee shirts can be clingy so best avoided.

I've had my boobs removed but have a really fat tummy so can't wear plain t shirts at all. This season I've had a couple of nice ones from Lands end or, pre-lockdown, Mantaray but many Debenhams closing now?

I'm really very frugal with everyday clothes so I 'treated' myself to ten tops from the £2.50 sale. Some of their stuff is really nice, just choose carefully:
