Seasalt and others

I have just been looking at the new Seasalt catalogue.

They are featuring some nice jumpers/ sweaters, so why, when we are going into the colder season, are most of the necklines still very wide?

I would have to wear something underneath, but don't always want another layer.

It doesn't itch if you wear something cotton under it. Don't most people do that?

I'm currently wearing four layers (not counting the bra). The top one is a heavy 'gansey' which I'd never wear right next to my skin.

I have to wear a cotton long sleeved tee under jumpers with only a small amount of wool in so am happy with wide boat necks. I just wear a scarf as well. At present, often a tubular Seasalt one which doubles as a face covering. I've got about ten of them now.
